The caves run deep into the hillside above West Wycombe village and directly beneath St Lawrence's Church and Mausoleum (which were also constructed by Sir Francis Dashwood around the same time the caves were excavated). West Wycombe Park, ancestral seat of the Dashwood family and also a National Trust property, lies directly across the valley. The caves' striking entrance, designed as the façade of a mock gothic church and built from flint and chalk mortar, which was erected in around 1752, can be viewed directly from West Wycombe House.

Clifton Suspension Bridge. Manage to do Hdr by balancing my camera on the side of the wall without a tripod. The clouds were a bit crazy this day. Taken back in March time this year before lock down.

A clear blue sky and a blistering sunny afternoon, hopeless for landscapes as I love clouds, so Hell, by the Foo Fighters is perfect. This is for Morag and Katrina who always go on about the sun in my photos. I played with stone sculptures and driftwood, but my words are running out.
The largest hydrothermal area in Lassen National Park. Bumpass Hell was named after Kendall Vanhook Bumpass, who stumbled on this area in the late 1800s while he was hiking. It is called Bumpass Hell because he fell in one of the steam geysers and ended up losing a leg.
