Went in to work the other night and found the heart model in pieces. What a shame. Luckily I'd taken a picture of it for DILO:
In a distant land a heartbroken woman picks up the pieces of her shattered life, determined to share her cautionary tale with others. Sitting down to write her story, Anne's mind begins to wander with romantic thoughts of her new neighbor. Finding solace in a relaxing game of solitaire, she thinks back on the life she left, and dreams of where her new found freedom might lead. Immerse yourself in the beauty and adventure of Heartwild Solitaire!
This sucks, there used to be hundreds of twist, giant, and obey giant pieces in the city. I did this face in the back to match a shepard fairey print on the front column.
THis was one of the last large obey giant posters in the city from a decade ago. Some toy put his poster over Obey's, that shit was history you fools

North Korean Leader Kim ‘Emaciated’, Citizens Heartbroken
North Korean state television has aired a citizen's comment about Kim Jong Un's "emaciated" condition, a highly unusual broadcast in a country where public discussion of the leader's health and personal life has always been off-limits.

Week 1
Decided that I'm going to come back to Flickr. High school inspires you. Hopefully the year will go faster if I can get through only 52 pictures.
Brian Tierney's story from the Hartford Courant:
"That extraordinary heroism happened when U.S. Army specialist Tierney, serving as radio telephone operator, was on patrol near Quang Tri City. Tierney and two fellow soldiers entered a village to capture a Viet Cong soldier who was hiding. As the soldier appeared to be surrendering, he threw a grenade at the group. Tierney lunged on the grenade saving the other two soldiers."
