An accidental photograph, I was actually photographing some flowers, I put my glasses down to answer the phone without looking where I placed them. When I came back it looked like two eyes behind the lenses, so I set it up a bit more and hopefully made it look like funny comical eyes and this was the final image, hence to say I still have to finish doing some macro flowers :) ~ Debbie KissThePixel2020

Santa Squirrel wants to wish Happy Holidays to everyone who celebrates.
He also wants to send this reminder - he sees you when you're sleeping. He knows when you're awake. He also knows if you've been naughty or nice. And instead or leaving out cookies and candy canes this year, leave out a plate of peanuts and pecans. That'll really put you on the Nice list!
Hobby needed to upgrade some clothes for her wildlife adventures.

My parents and Holly called round for a few hours this afternoon on their way to the Lakes. It was lovely to see them. My dad can't walk very well now so he chilled in my flat while my mum and I went for a walk around all my favourite haunts. We walked along the Leeds Liverpool Canal and then over to the River Aire. We had a cappuccino on my favourite "thinking seat" and were lucky enough to see my special heron friend...he doesn't very often let me down. We ended up in Myrtle Park which Holly was very excited about - so many new faces, doggies and smells.

Capturing the scene and sprit of the celebrations in my hometown. Waving the flag for Her Majesty.
Day 1 of 4 days of celebrations for our dear Queen's 70 year reign.
My grandaughter who is now 15 months old. I tried to do a double exposure in PSE15, it took ages and I picked the wrong photos so I downloaded Snapseed onto my phone which turned out to be far easier to play with. I will try again with layers in PSE15 later as it is a great learning curve. It is so good we have two weeks now to perfect the challenges :-)

Today is my wonderful Cousin Barbara's birthday! Reposting this photo from last year... %-)
We have always been incredibly close and are so much alike in so many ways...
Unfortunately though for us we were born on the opposite sides of the world.
I'm a born and bred Kiwi and she is a born and bred American.
Our Mothers are Sisters... Mine married a Canadian and hers married an American! %-)
When we were kids we used to write to each other all the time, and have corresponded all our lives in one way or another. We've treasured the time we have managed to spend together here and there over the years. It's never long enough though... and always so hard to say goodbye!

Barbara came to visit while I was living in London. She'd lived there a while, a couple of years before me.. and this was one of her favourite places. As you can see... we had a lot of fun that night!

MacGregor had fun retrieving, but also enjoyed a game of keep away with his mom after coming back to land.
I met up with Dianne to train some Rally and Joyce came so she and Dianne could work on water retrieves at the pond nearby. I followed with my camera for some pictures and had to keep moving because of the tall weeds around the waters edge that blocked most of the cameras views.

Please see the following image, which is the original of this one. It is SOOC. This one has quite a bit of work done to it, using Lightroom. It is so seldom that this works, I wanted to share it. She ain't no beauty queen, but I work with what I see.
Pretty boring for terrorists, as they did not blow up anybody. They just hung out with everyone else, only freaking out when Yusuf Islam (the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens) was performing. But I'm pretty sure they screamed just as loud when Ozzy came out on stage moments later.
White bread, brown bread, sesame bread, garlic bread, soft bread, stiff bread, cheese bread..
Hmmm.. I choose soft white bread.
So very soft like a cushiony pillow of love that melts like sweet butter in your mouth.
Life is mesmerizing when we enjoy the little things, like a bread basket, or the soft trumpet music by Kenny G.
