Pure mischief in a fluffy bundle!! Legend the Tibetan Mastiff puppy

Smile on Saturday theme : Ribbons

I don't know if it's because of the altitude or because of all this whiteness, but the Salar de Uyuni encourages photographers to do very strange things sometimes!

Sailing in style with my bestie Deena.

Drinking champagne, and trying to stop seagulls from stealing the strawberries!

Painted the hair, and the water on Dee's body. Check the before&after and credits HERE.

It does not seem like we will be able to go sailing for quite some time in RL though! I imagine it would be wonderful to be near the sea or ocean right now.

Thank you everyone for taking a look at my images, much appreciated!

There aren't many places to experience real river rafting in the Caribbean, but in the Dominican Republic rivers are flowing down from the mountain summits with sufficient force.

Nowadays when the smartphone is like an extension of the hand is so unusual to see children having fun in playing chess in the mall.

Christmas offer lots of opportunities for having fun with both incoming and outgoing packages and the accompanying packing materials. Guru likes the Entertainment and Sports sections.

I told Gerry that we are not supposed to be going out. Unless of course, it is important.

Maybe you can get me some Beer.

Never mind. I don't think you can carry much on that thing.

Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday

So very sorry to hear of those harmed in Nova Scotia. So very sad.

Well, I did it once in September...same place, same car :)

when you have no tripod and there is no pond...

But I like winter colors better...and the car was clean enough :)

I found my prince

Or, at least I found a frog

Some of you wanted me to give the toad I found last time, a kiss....

Well, it was a toad....

So, this is a frog

That is quite something else

Such a handsome chap

I'm really hopeful for what I will have in my garden tomorrow

💋

Lol

I don't remember the name of this restaurant in Luxembourg but I will always remember the great food, the great service and the great staff. They kept smiling all the time and made everybody having so much fun.

Beautiful sunset at the Estuary Talsarnau whilst all of us on a walk.

Talsarnau or Talsamau is a village and community in the Ardudwy area of Gwynedd in Wales. Its population was 525 in 2001, and had increased to 550 at the 2011 Census. The village of Talsarnau is situated on the A496 coastal road between Maentwrog and Harlech, close to the hamlets of Eisingrug and Llandecwyn

They had a short life, but now they live for ever.

The red and the blue dudes are on vacation, I hope they will return soon.

But I am happy that they have a substitute 😁😁😁

So welcome to the black beauty

Did I hurry down from the mountain? Yup

And did I feel wooooooooo, when I saw the lights from my village and the afterglow, yup 😅

Happy Caturday 24.12.2022 "Having fun"

Jimmy (L) and Muse are chasing the laser pointer dot.

I'm submitting this for the "having fun" theme for the Happy Caturday group.

My mysterious forest

All dark

Even the moss is stretching to see

Are there any dangers out there

All terrified

Goosebumps they used to call the feeling

Now it's called Mossbumps

You didn't know that I guess

So many strangers out there

Lurking around the corners of the trunks

You can hear their feet when they crunch a stick

Good grief

Mossbumps all over the body, or was it the trunk

They do normally come in peace

Normally

But not today

Oh my

I really need my coffee

Thanks to everyone who has visited. I appreciate very much the kind comments and faves which have been left.

I love the crisp air of winter and look forward to these months almost as much as autumn. The weeks of rain aren't so much fun though but that makes the next clear day all the more enjoyable. Here we have Tacoma, WA's, north end and Mt. Rainier as seen from Ruston Way in Tacoma.

The only challenge here was to get a sharp shot while shooting over a large expanse of water with rising air currents. It was hilarious to scroll through the images and see how the air currents distorted the buildings. People freak out and return their new lens when they see that sometimes. The 95mm Breakthrough polarizer was on there and that helped with everything including saturation in the waning light. Yes, the 200-500 can do lanscapes and it's tons of fun.

Many thanks for your warm and kind comments and visits my flickr friends and family. You are the best! 💖

We had bright sunshine on this day, which seemed ideal to capture this fun metal spring. I like tiny springs. The Laowa 2:1 macro lens needs much light.

Our state governor has called for a mask mandate, but hospitals here continue to accept Covid patients from other states where masks and other cautionary measures are not required. Back to macro and avoiding the news.

Stay safe and healthy, whever you are.

At least in my memory 😁

Wow, do we need being remembered how the colors are, the warmth, the sun, the shade - it all.

We need to be remembered because otherwise we don't know what we have now.

I'm training up my new pet

I hope you can see what it is

I think it was a bit difficult to see what this was after I processed it with a beer in my hand, lol

But

It's gonna be the best guard pet ever

You can see it

Can't you

Ha

It's gonna eat you up

Bumps all over your body

I have a chain to it

But

It keeps slipping away tho

So I need to just trust it

Do we have a name for it?

I could call it Mark - with a "k"

or a "c"?

Or do we have any other more suitable name? Lux perhaps?

Difficult one, isn't it

Friday is on

And my lover is not here

Abandoned me again

So,

Home is In Your Arms, my insect - you make me feel safe

I think

Sigh

Selection of Shells seaweed & pebbles on the sandy beach @ llandanwg

Gwynedd, North Wales.

Llandanwg Beach sits between the towns of Barmouth and Harlech on the southern side of Tremadog Bay. It is also part of the wider Snowdonia National Park and situated close to the pretty Afon Dwyryd estuary.

The sand dunes to the back of the beach conceal the tiny church of Saint Tanwg which dates from the 13th century. A small path winds through the dunes and leads you to the beach from the central car park area or you can take a trail from Cardigan Bay. As you sit on the pristine sands you will also be able to enjoy vistas of the rugged Rhinog Mountains in the distance.

The beach here shelves gently into the sea making this a good place to swim, although there is no lifeguard so care should be taken. When the tide is low, it reveals a causeway out to pretty Mochras which is also known by its local nickname of Shell Island due to the plethora of different hued shells found on the its beach.

Due to its strategic position, Llandanwg Beach is shielded from the well known Welsh winds which can be a little fresh at times meaning that you can enjoy this area even in the off-season. The beach is also well-loved by locals including fisherman who come here for the plentiful supplies of bass, mackerel, flatfish, and dogfish. With that in mind keen anglers will find plenty to do here, or you can explore dainty rock pools or simply go for a stroll on the soft, pristine sand.

Amenities at Traeth Llandanwg include disabled access and the village is also home to the quaint Y Maes Cafe close to the beach which operates from June to October
