I love the crisp air of winter and look forward to these months almost as much as autumn. The weeks of rain aren't so much fun though but that makes the next clear day all the more enjoyable. Here we have Tacoma, WA's, north end and Mt. Rainier as seen from Ruston Way in Tacoma.
The only challenge here was to get a sharp shot while shooting over a large expanse of water with rising air currents. It was hilarious to scroll through the images and see how the air currents distorted the buildings. People freak out and return their new lens when they see that sometimes. The 95mm Breakthrough polarizer was on there and that helped with everything including saturation in the waning light. Yes, the 200-500 can do lanscapes and it's tons of fun.
Many thanks for your warm and kind comments and visits my flickr friends and family. You are the best! 💖

We had bright sunshine on this day, which seemed ideal to capture this fun metal spring. I like tiny springs. The Laowa 2:1 macro lens needs much light.
Our state governor has called for a mask mandate, but hospitals here continue to accept Covid patients from other states where masks and other cautionary measures are not required. Back to macro and avoiding the news.
Stay safe and healthy, whever you are.
Walking, talking, smiling
Aiko and me
Aiko is running around sniffing
Like Ferdinand the Bull when he discovered the flowers
Me laughing
Me chasing him
He is laughing
How he can show his joy, its incredible
Taking in the wonders
My scenery is so full of it
The snow is like whipped cream
It's unreal
But real
Some elk tracks, they made the trails without me this time
And yes, I did get the medal from the Elks Uniion
Am I enjoying the small things?
I think I can say Yes, scouts honor, cross my heart and all that
Sharing is always caring
I care for you, so I share this scenery with you.
I hope you can visualize us, having fun.
I hope I can bring a little laugh and a smile on your face while you see us in your mind, tumbling around
That's what we do on Flickr
You bring me joy by letting me share this with you.
We all win
At least in my memory 😁
Wow, do we need being remembered how the colors are, the warmth, the sun, the shade - it all.
We need to be remembered because otherwise we don't know what we have now.
I'm training up my new pet
I hope you can see what it is
I think it was a bit difficult to see what this was after I processed it with a beer in my hand, lol
But
It's gonna be the best guard pet ever
You can see it
Can't you
Ha
It's gonna eat you up
Bumps all over your body
I have a chain to it
But
It keeps slipping away tho
So I need to just trust it
Do we have a name for it?
I could call it Mark - with a "k"
or a "c"?
Or do we have any other more suitable name? Lux perhaps?
Difficult one, isn't it
Friday is on
And my lover is not here
Abandoned me again
So,
Home is In Your Arms, my insect - you make me feel safe
I think
Sigh
Selection of Shells seaweed & pebbles on the sandy beach @ llandanwg
Gwynedd, North Wales.
Llandanwg Beach sits between the towns of Barmouth and Harlech on the southern side of Tremadog Bay. It is also part of the wider Snowdonia National Park and situated close to the pretty Afon Dwyryd estuary.
The sand dunes to the back of the beach conceal the tiny church of Saint Tanwg which dates from the 13th century. A small path winds through the dunes and leads you to the beach from the central car park area or you can take a trail from Cardigan Bay. As you sit on the pristine sands you will also be able to enjoy vistas of the rugged Rhinog Mountains in the distance.
The beach here shelves gently into the sea making this a good place to swim, although there is no lifeguard so care should be taken. When the tide is low, it reveals a causeway out to pretty Mochras which is also known by its local nickname of Shell Island due to the plethora of different hued shells found on the its beach.
Due to its strategic position, Llandanwg Beach is shielded from the well known Welsh winds which can be a little fresh at times meaning that you can enjoy this area even in the off-season. The beach is also well-loved by locals including fisherman who come here for the plentiful supplies of bass, mackerel, flatfish, and dogfish. With that in mind keen anglers will find plenty to do here, or you can explore dainty rock pools or simply go for a stroll on the soft, pristine sand.
Amenities at Traeth Llandanwg include disabled access and the village is also home to the quaint Y Maes Cafe close to the beach which operates from June to October
Flaming flowers
that brightly blaze
The treasures are out there
You just need to do the 'plank' to get down to see them and shoot
Captured for eternity
And of course moments of laughters for people seeing that this weird lady are doing the plank out in the open,
toes touching the ground
elbows touching the ground
holding her breath

This image is a homemade smile for today's theme. It's a wooden, big plate with different types of stones for the eyes, ears, nose and mouth and a little touch of Lycopodium as hair on the left side. I gave it a little black hair image too. Having fun is all there is to this image, hope it can brighten up your day too 😁
Happy Smile on Saturday to you all!💝
a play with lights, colours and shapes of a night capture of mine of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia.

I've never done light painting before and decided to have a practice whilst walking the dogs this morning. SQL volunteered to help me and I know it's not very good but it made me laugh, so I thought it might make you smile - HSoS!
I took this picture during last year's Chinese New Year. Image of 2 daughters sitting on dad's shoulders watching the lion/dragon dance. It won't be the same for this year! Happy CN New Year & stay safe 😊
Here having fun with my friends and playing with my crazy ideas...LOL....
Enjoy your day dear friends!
SO…. I got to thinking about mythical things and all that I thought this Bigfoot would surely have to be the world’s most hunted beings. People come afar to track to get to a glimpse of BF. Bigfoot, also commonly referred to as Sasquatch, is a purported ape-like creature said to inhabit the forests of North America. Many dubious articles have been offered in attempts to prove the existence of Bigfoot, including anecdotal claims of visual observations as well as alleged video and audio recordings, photographs, and casts of large footprints.[2] Some are known or admitted hoaxes.[3] Tales of wild, hairy humanoids exist throughout the world,[4] and such creatures appear in the folklore of North America,[5] including the mythologies of indigenous people.[6][7] Bigfoot is an icon within the fringe subculture of cryptozoology,[8] and an enduring element of popular culture.[9] ALL INFO IS COURTESY Wikipedia.

So...
Seattle, Washington
I like to hide pictures in the oddest of places...perhaps so that one day...many months later I can stumble upon it and let it see the light of day.
Downtown Seattle, so many puddles to choose from, but this caught my eye.
This is a composition of three of my photos and finished off with a texture from Skeletal mess. I think it looks like a children's book cover. I had fun with this one. View On Black
