Monsanto....billed as the most hated corporation in the world. Known for its propagation of GMO foods and the pesticide RoundUp which contains a substance called glyphosate, a possible carcinogen. Protest marches against Monsanto and its products took place around the world. What does that tell you?

On June 22nd Norway was struck by a terrorist attack in Oslo and at Utøya where almost 80 people lost their lives, most of them young and aspiring people. "The Norwegian response to violence is more democracy, more openness and greater political participation," primeminister Jens Stoltenberg said in a speech shortly after the attacks. My thoughts go out to everyone involved in the attacks.

I have a love/hate relationship with cereal. It is so yummy and convenient, but the milk makes my tummy hurt...I eat it anyway.
I hate ironing with a passion, I loathe it. I would rather rod my drains than do my ironing - I would rather rod your drains than do my ironing... maybe a bit of hyperbole there, but you never know... One of thoese loathesome jobs that just has to be done, and I hate it. Did I mention how much I despise doing the ironing?
