The brochures and maps lay scattered now, turning slowly from souvenirs into clutter as the days since my arrival back home recede into time past. Routine reasserts itself, and recurring household chores become second nature again. That pleasantly unsettling feeling of inhabiting two spaces at once - the far and the near - has all but left me now as the domestic becomes the norm again. But for a few days I had it, that wonderful feeling of return mixed with fresh memories of the trip.

Out on a dog walk on Sunday evening we could see the Combine harvester at work by the clouds of dust he was raising, glad I had my camera with me as the sky turned in some nice colour as the sun dropped. I had no filters with me just the 24-105 lens on the camera .

Here's Gypsy in her new harness that I ordered on Sunday & came this morning.

10 facts about Gypsy.
1) Yes, she's a purebred Border Collie.
2) She was born on a farm. Her mum is a working sheepdog and her dad is a working sheepdog to a neighbouring farm.
3) She will be starting agitly and flyball next year. And we'll hopefully be competing in Heelwork-to-music & Canine Freestyle too.
4) She is a sensitive dog and can be nervious around strange people and dogs. Although she has improved a bit.
5) She is "clicker" trained and knows around 40 commands.
6) She loves Jet. I believe Jet loves her too but doesn't like to admit to it. xD
7) She has been spayed recently. No baby Gypsy's, I'm afraid. One's quite enough, thankyou.
8) She is not as hyper as some BC's but has her moments.
9) She has never chewed any furniture & has only gone "toilet" in the house around 5 times. Bliss. Don't you wish all puppies were like her. =)
10) She's beautiful. Okay so that's an opinion but hey. xD

It's been a while since I took Bella for a walk in the garden and I was worried she'd ave forgotten how to walk with a harness.
However, she started purring as soon as I put it on and confidently walked out the door.
