Another image exploring me in macro. I have noticed new bumps forming on my fingers and they are sort of achy so I wanted to capture my hands to freeze this point in time. I remember my grandmother telling us that she could predict the weather better than the weatherman by the way her bones felt, I think I am now beginning to understand what she was experiencing. In the book, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn I remember Francy describing her mother's hard-working hands and know I should be protecting mine more. Time for a good hand soak and deep moisturizing lotion.

Photographed on the afternoon of Friday 13 September 2019 following the Gota Fria the previous day on the Costa Blanca, Spain. Little did we know that the storm was to return that evening hence the rough seas. The storm was the worst Spain has seen in 150 years were people lost their lives, homes, pets and businesses. The storm has been poorly reported by the media world wide. Not only have people died but animals were trapped and drowned. They recovered hundreds of dead animals in one day in my area alone.
