I like to sketch out watercolors during when attending conferences or workshops...this one was done during a harm reduction workshop. The whole world is addicted; why do we punish people who have certain addictions that we have decided to stigmatize? Look at the sky, the earth, the water rising...We are are addicted to garbage, fossil fuels, melting the icecaps, war, television, etc....while I don't advise addiction to drugs, is it any worse than the stuff the human race is "smoking"? Harm reduction is the human approach to helping our brothers and sisters with addictions.
I was pretty disappointed a couple of months ago when I found out the concert was sold out. I came home yesterday and took a look through the Westender only to find an interview with Sarah Harmer. I phoned the ticket vendor on the off chance some seats might have opened up. I was in luck!!!! My friend Alex and I burned down to the concert and enjoyed an amazing show. Woooohoooooo!

The Harmer foot and rail bridge in Nov 2010
The Harmer foot and rail bridge is on the Muskingum River at Marietta and Harmer Ohio near the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio Rivers.
Sporting the odd trendy establishment, but mostly townhouses broken up into small flats and offices and the odd shop. Reminds me a bit of King's Cross before all the regeneration started kicking in.
