Ed ecco un carro con uomini nudi che lanciano biscotti ai passanti... Che faccio? Li mangio?

Certo che milano stupisce sempre, può succedere di tutto..

Huge thanks to Highland Andy and his friends for making this possible. This is one very laid back hare - we got extremely close - and the best bit was, he was still sitting there happily when we left :)

This hare knew I was there but was very laid back about it all!

A public art event has arrived in Winchester and is shared with Southampton. It takes place from 16 June to 25 August 2022. Following a trail can be quite a physical challenge carrying cameras in summer weather but the results appear in my album 'Hares of Hampshire'.

Hare name - Poly

Created by - J. Masson

Sponsor - Partridge of Hampshire

Location - The Close, Winchester Cathedral

This snowshoe hare is transitioning from it’s winter to summer coat. In the winter, they are camouflaged with white fur to blend in with the snow, and in the warmer seasons their brown fur blends in with the forest cover. Snowshoe hares can be found throughout the boreal forest and northern Ontario. Learn more about the snowshoe hare, by clicking here: www.ontarionature.org/discover/resources/PDFs/atlases/mam....

Another hare that wandered up to me, seeming unawares.

I love the reflection of the (cloudy) sunset over the sea in its eye (this is right on the coast).

It's not very often two Hares are seen together, I spotted these at Holme Valley Country Park.

The hare looked at me for a moment before running away

Seen in a field near Hawling in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds UK.

When the sun sets and the Twilight Zone begins, hares stop resting and begin their day.

Their fur certainly provides good camouflage.

This is the giant chocolate bunny whose mission it is to rescue needy and abused children across the UK.

Quite a big ask for an inanimate chocolate bunny - although as you can see, this one is certainly animated. Animated and projected onto the side of a building on the South Bank, in fact.

It is, of course, the now-ubiquitous Lindt rabbit. Lindt have teamed up with childline to make this giant advert promoting the service, though I didn't stay long enough to work out exactly how they fit the bunny into the equation without weakening the message somewhat.

Not sure how I feel about chocolate companies working in partnership with Childline. Seems a bit like Guinness helping to promote the Samaritans.

However my award for this week's most incongruous ad goes to the posters all over the tube for forthcoming horror flick The Orphanage.

The poor advertising agency must be hanging their heads in disbelief and shame as the ads scream out at millions of passengers - most of whom will be reading freesheets carrying headlines about the orphanage-cum-house of torture in Jersey. 'Unfortunate' doesn't cover it.

Piccolo Reportage in occasione di alcune inizializzazioni nella comunità Hare Krishna

Found this Hare catching the rays of warm light I must say it was most welcome, he took one look at me and he was off. Getting to be a habit, one will sit for me yet!

A combination of heat haze, stacked teleconverters and poor focusing resulted in a strange watercolour effect, what do you think?

Nityananda Trayodasi is the appearance anniversary of Lord Nityananda.

Lord Nityananda, whose name means "eternally blissful", is the brother of Lord Caitanya. They are traditionally worshipped together, as are Krishna and Balarama.

On Nityananda Trayodasi devotees fast till noon. The day is spent recounting the special glories of Lord Nityananda, or Nitai as He is sometimes known, and in vigorous kirtana. In temples there is a ritual bathing of Gaura Nitai deities.

Lord Nityananda is an avadhuta: one who is not bound by social customs. He acts in pure devotion to His Divine brother in the mood of His servant but His behaviour is sometimes unfathomable.

Nevertheless He is considered more merciful than Lord Caitanya because He is so eager to deliver the mercy of Lord Caitanya. If anyone can please Nitai even in the smallest way, then that person will receive a spiritual grace that will transform his life.

This festival generally falls in February. Devotees enjoy a sumptuous feast in honour of Lord Nityananda who was Himself renowned as a very enthusiastic enjoyer of Krishna prasadam, transcendentally consuming it in superhuman quantities! taken from:
