Hare on an anvil... at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, West Bretton.

I spent some time photographing and learning about a Hare Krishna community in Melbourne for a uni assignment.

I've never felt so welcomed, yet so out of my comfort zone at the same time.

I've never left a community with such a strong conviction that it just isn't for me.

I've also never learned so much for an assignment ever. I had to immerse myself in a different world for a few weeks, without leaving home. It was a strange experience all around.

Staying with their humans in a converted boathouse in Bideford the hares found a comfortable niche for themselves high up in the rafters

I believe this is a hare. Although the damage done to it could make it a rabbit. This animal had been recently run over in the last 24-48 hours or so.

A bit fuzzy, but hares ARE fuzzy.

Hare again spotted in Horsham

Had a go at photographing hares today. I did find it difficult to get close enough. But at least it shows something of the environment

Continuing the theme of big ol' hares. Just a fake canvas banner for an imaginary watering hole and wayfarers' crash pad.

March 12, 2009. So I landed at O'Hare, checked my connection three or four times, gate E2A, went through this tunnel and over to the other terminal, thinking maybe I'd take a photo, but didn't, got over there, checked my connection, gate has changed, gate C7, about 20 feet from where I had arrived, so went back to the original tunnel, through the tunnel... and this time, decided to take a photo of the tunnel. Because, I have learned to take the hint when fate intervenes. Anyhow, I'm in Austin now.

Lots of playing and cheeky behaviour in our local Hare population in Kent. Seem to be doing okay this year.

Hare Standing .. like the ears !

A hare at the Woodland Cemetery in southern Stockholm, having a siesta.

This little chap poped out while I was trying to photograph a golden plover. He didn't seem to mind us at all and sat there for ages.

This poor old hare looks a little boxed out, it ran off when it noticed me though.

Brown hare, North Cotswolds.

I can watch these fascinating animals all day but getting a decent photograph is something else. I have spent hours in the attempt.

This chap has paused briefly to decide what to do next. Mad March hares indeeed.
