Not sure why so many emergency vehicles at O'Hare (fire, police, ambulance, and other unidentified vehicles with flashing lights).

You can definitely see the brown undercoat showing through as the white fur molts on this Snowshoe Hare, seen on the edge of the Western Marsh, Jack Pine Apr 12, 2011.

Far from a brilliant picture but this is just one of those want to prove it happened shots. On a walk and while used to seeing rabbits hares are much less usual. There was a clear size difference with the hare being much bigger than rabbits and its movement was totally different as well
Nityananda Trayodasi is the appearance anniversary of Lord Nityananda.
Lord Nityananda, whose name means "eternally blissful", is the brother of Lord Caitanya. They are traditionally worshipped together, as are Krishna and Balarama.
On Nityananda Trayodasi devotees fast till noon. The day is spent recounting the special glories of Lord Nityananda, or Nitai as He is sometimes known, and in vigorous kirtana. In temples there is a ritual bathing of Gaura Nitai deities.
Lord Nityananda is an avadhuta: one who is not bound by social customs. He acts in pure devotion to His Divine brother in the mood of His servant but His behaviour is sometimes unfathomable.
Nevertheless He is considered more merciful than Lord Caitanya because He is so eager to deliver the mercy of Lord Caitanya. If anyone can please Nitai even in the smallest way, then that person will receive a spiritual grace that will transform his life.
This festival generally falls in February. Devotees enjoy a sumptuous feast in honour of Lord Nityananda who was Himself renowned as a very enthusiastic enjoyer of Krishna prasadam, transcendentally consuming it in superhuman quantities! taken from:

Just the one hare out tonight. Crop is growing quickly so the Hares will be become much harder to find
Woke up early and thought I would see if the barn owl was flying. It wasn't but there were six hares in the field opposite the B & B. AKO B & B in Bempton - recommended.
I arrived at my usual spot to find there was a hare sat in the field margin. I slowly crawled my way to a close distance and waited. Eventually it got up, had a stretch and moved a metre or so in the the field. Then three or four loud quad-bikers came along the adjacent byway and flushed all the hares out of the field.
Since I have uploaded hare shots I have mentioned just how difficut it is to spot them in the growing winter barley especially as they can almost vanish into the ground despite thier size.
This chap appraered to be on his own until I looked more closely through the lens.
Thankfully the light was better today but the oroblem remained with distance despite the converted being attached. These animals were about seventy five yards away as they were yesterday,
With the naked eye this chap could have been confused with a lump of soil.
Time for another 'hare' picture. This one was sitting here for well over four hours - and the same yesterday in all the rain!

Well these are never going to win any awards but I was out for a walk looking for barn owls and a spotted a hare. Always great to find the unexpected. It was almost dark, the ISO was 2500 and the shutter speed down to only 1/80 sec. As soon as they appeared they disappeared. Spotted in Worcestershire, not Somerset
Haring painted this 170-foot-long mural on the wall that connects the Tony Dapolito Pool to the James J. Walker Park handball court on Clarkson Street west of 7th Avenue in August 1987. Haring typically created work based on his inspiration of the moment, not prior sketches. For this mural, he incorporated aquatic colors and motifs, like fish, dolphins, and mermaids. The mural at this 1930s pool was restored by the Keith Haring Foundation in 1995.
This mountain hare was quite comfortable with my slow approach. Its partner was a little more nervous and kept a couple of metres more between us.
