I Arambol flyter dagarna ihop och nu efter ett par dagar minns jag mest fragment. Som eftermiddagen den första dagen. Vi hittade snabbt till Magic Park och fortsatte på veganspåret nu när man kunde i Goa. Här spenderade drösar av hippies sina dagar i halvliggande position, smuttandes på hälsodrycker och knaprandes på vegansk morotskaka. I en del av inrättningen pågick paryoga och folk stod inlindade i dom mest intrikata former medans instruktören som bröt på vad som lät som hebreiska gav uppmanande utropp. Vi åt en härlig men dyr måltid och kände oss redan lite helade.
Från Magic Park vandrade vi ner mot havet, på vägen stötte vi på ett gäng ryssar som hade workshop i djempe, det var mycket kulturkrock på en gång med fjuniga och ryska djempespelandes rastahippies som lär sig spela västafrikansk djembe på en strand i den lilla före detta portuguisiska indiska delstaten Goa.
Under skymmningsstunden dök det upp yogautövare, jonglörer och andra gycklare. En lång sträcka brevid oss befolkades av hantverkare och hippies som sålde hattar, smycken och musikinstrument. Strax innan sju var det smockfullt på stranden och då började ett gäng spela trummor och det bildades en ring av gungades och hoppandes hippies, vi med. Det passerades runt mycket jointar och man kände dofter av hasch överallt. Vi gungade med lite i periferin tills den enkla trumrytmen blev lite för långtråkig för oss nyktra.
I Arambol hade jag ett par bekanta som det var kul att återse; Abbi som när han inte hyr ut motorcyklar i Manali (norra Indien) lever på att låta turister överföra musik och film till sina datorer och mediaspelare, tänk itunes fast i stället för en stor server så är det ett par dammiga hårddiskar inne i en trång butik med lysrör och flagnande färg på väggarna. En ganska ljusskygg affärside som nog bara funkar i en lite sömnig strandstad i Indien. En annan kille är Raj, eller Dylan som han har kommit att kallas och som också är namnet på han cafe. Han stoltserar med att han har Arambols ända espressomaskin och det är en gammal härlig antikvitet som ser ut som ett förkromat mikroskåp. Nu är han nog inte längre den ända med riktigt kaffe för dom flesta har investerat i någon form av kaffeapparat och det stoltserar man gärna med i form av stora blockbokstäver här och där "REAL COFFE" eller något annat, typ caffe latte eller espresso, men gärna med lite stavfel. Dylans ställe har bytt plats för tredje gången och nu var det rätt svårt att hitta rätt. Väl framme så hittar vi två barnfamiljer som äter gröt och en tysk med någon form av psykisk sjukdom för han skriker åt alla och verkar vara sur men ändå lite intressant. Först är han förbannad på den varma kaffet, sen skriker han i telefonen och sen blir han sur på allt damm. Jag vet inte om det är den tidiga morgonen men vår beställning tar sjukt lång tid, över en timme. Innan vi går tar vi en sista titt på min kusin Bellas tavla som hänger bakom kassan, den föreställer Bob Dylan i en kaffekopp med slogan "you've got to serve somebody".
En annan dag hyrde vi en sliten gammal scooter och gav oss iväg på äventyr. Vi åkte norrut från Arambol. Vinden kändes härlig i håret och kylde ner våra överhettade kroppar, med Dorotheas armar runt min midja zikzakade vi förbi hål i marken och kobajs, samtidigt som jag koncentrerade mig maximalt på mötande trafik, för här gäller verkligen devisen "störst går först" dessutom är det vänstertrafik och man delar den lilla vägen med allt ifrån kossor, försäljare och små barn. Vi tog den lilla gratisfärjan över floden som markerar statsgränsen mellan Goa och Maharashtra. Det är en gratisfärja mellan Querim och Terekhol, ett par kilometer innan den är ett stort brobygge nära att fullbordas och när bron står klar kommer nog Goas turismindustri rinna över lite till södra Maharashtra. Vi är på väg till vad som kallas för paradise beach, 10km fågelvägen norr om Arambol. Vi åker igenom ett område med stora dagbrott och skyltar med texten Tata Metaliks, stora lastbilar passerar oss och röd aska blåser i vinden. Tjugo minuter senare kommer vi fram till en liten skog strax innan stranden, Dorothea rider en kamel ner till vattnet och jag letar efter parkering. Stranden är nästan tom och ser ut att vara väldigt lång. Ett tiotal palmhyddor har rests och vi blir erbjudna att stanna i en för 400 rupies. Det är så tomt på folk att vi bara lämnar våra grejer och springer ut i vattnet. En mamma med sin lilla pojke kommer, ungen får krypa ensam på stranden och jag fotar ett par fina bilder. Vi träffar en turkisk tjej som stod och sålde leggins med fina tryck i Arpora, hon och hennes gäng har sovit på stranden i Arambol och ikväll ska dom sova på den här stranden.
Jag rullar ner moppen på stranden genom den tjocka sanden och vi kör i vattenbrynet. Det är tomt och härligt. En bit bort stannar vi brevid ett gäng fiskebåtar, där ligger stå stora ormar i vattenbryningen, ena är överkörd och den andra har inte mycket energi kvar. Jag vågar röra svansen och han sprätter till lite slött. Vi åker vidare, flera kilometer på den hårda stranden. Här och där ligger ett par ensamma turister, vi vinkar till två nakna killar som ligger med rumpan bar i vattnet. Dom skrattar. Till slut kommer vi till en liten flodmynning som vi inte kommer över. Här har det samlats en klunga ryssar, dom ser nästan ut att komma från Mad Max men är lite för rödrosiga i hyn. Här möts flodvattnet under eftermiddagen med det stigande tidvattnet och en sandtunga har bildats, på ena sidan ser det djupt ut. Jag dyker i men skrapar upp underarmen och ena handen mot vassa stenar. Det blöder lite men det är ingen fara. En stakars glassförsäljare har tagit sig hela vägen hit bort och han lyckas inte kränga en enda glasspinne. Vi vänder tillbaka. Vi drar upp scootern och ställer den mot ett träd brevid några försäljare, jag köper en omelett och Dorothea tar en kokosnöt, helt plötsligt säger det smäll och en ryss har kört på min moppe, han har tvingat sin moppe upp ur sanden och den har skenat iväg så fort den har fåt fotfäste och farit iväg rakt emot min. Stor tumult uppstår och alla indiska försäljare kommer för att inspektera. Det övergår i disskussion. Jag vill inte bli betalningsskyldig och han är ledsen. Fler ryssar höga och fulla tillkommer, den sotiga majsförsäljaren är på min sida och tycker att jag ska be om ett par tusen rupies för säkerhets skull. Inspektionen pågår, jag ser att det finns stora repor på skärmarna men hejdar mig och kommer på att jag tog bilder på moppen när jag hyrde den. Just för att om det skulle uppstå en disskussion så skulle jag veta vilket skick den var i från början. Det verkar som om dom flesta repor var där tidigare. En storbystad solbränd ryska kommer fram och muttrar något om bra kontakter med mekaniker, inge problem osv. Han som körde på verkar uppriktigt ledsen men jag säger att den nog inte har hänt något. Jag tar hans namn och hotellnamn sen säger jag att dom kan sticka, jag käkar upp min kalla omelett och tumultet lägger sig. Alla försäljare vinkar av oss och önskar oss lycka till när vi sticker. Moppeuthyraren märker ingen skilnad och blir glad när jag säger att jag tror att jag åkt på samma moppe tidigare, den hade också texten Sunila på styret, han säger att alla hans moppar har fått det namnet efter hans dotter och viftar bort mot en skrothög med gamla scootrar. Dom håller bara ett par år säger han alla utlänningar kör så oförsiktigt. Vi lämnar honom och jag tänker på hans dotters stora glada ögon och hoppas att jag inte har gått minus på karmakontot.

My computer crashed yesterday so i got some problems with it. Lost a lot of stuff and it's a lot slower now.... Luckily still got some photos and backups from my external harddisk.
About the ArnoShutter
This is the prototype of my DIY shutter system to take strobed macrophoto’s in combination with my ArnoSync controller. The shutter concept is very simple : a single solenoid winded on a suitable ferro kernel and embedded in a resin with the size and shape of a sugar cube. A light weight armature cut out of a piece of 0.25 mm (250 micron) thick polycarbonate and a suitable Neodymium (NdFeB) magnet forms the heart of the shutter. My previous DIY shutter anno 2010, was built around a voicecoil of an old 3.5 inch harddisk. Both shutter systems have about the same response times but this version is much more lighter and simpler to build. Finding (enough) suitable harddisk servo systems to experiment is not always easy. A typical shutterlag of 5 msec to full open, and another 5 msec to be fully closed can be achieved. The shutter armature is cut from a piece of polycarbonate or equivalent material. I did also tests with several other materials such as 0.10 mm thick aluminum striped from a beercan or plastic material used in the food-package industry. Also some blister package material from electronic devices are usable, but then some parts must be painted in black to make it opaque. Until now the shutter system in the field uses black 0.25 mm (250 micron) polycarbonate material from Sabic- Lexan FR25A. It has shown the best overall specs in terms of weight, strength and durability. Building a double armature version with a single coil or a double coil version with a single armature are possible alternatives to be investigated. This may help to shorten the shutter lag and close times which is a must for this kind of macrophotography. This is of course an ideal job for the coming winter. This DIY shutter system keeps me busy as a retired engineer and the experiments brings my a lot of fun. Unfortunatly my big hands and dito fingers are sometimes a big handycap to work with this very smal parts. In the good old day’s (seventies) when dinausurus where speeking, I developed a simular application for an electronic jacquard card cutting machine, so it nice to play with permanent magnets again.

After cleaning my SZIII-Tr Stereo Microscope and for the lack of a proper insect as a testobject -which I usually and rather shoot- I give you this read/write head of a harddisk.
The actual inductive head itself is approx. 1mm x 1.5mm.
Mag. probably 3,6:1, or 36X according to the scale of the microscope times the 10X eyepiece. Which ever...
Of the 4336 px imagesize the head takes roughly 1200px so that'll be right. I always find it difficult to calculate the exact magnification.
The photo-oculair I used, a simple 10X eyepiece, is not the best of optics and has a lot of CA, and I'm trying to find another one to see if can improve on the results. I should be using one of these:

this is a serene morning, after a raining night. its lunar Apr 15, so lots of crackers in dawn by villagers memorising their ancestors. i was deeply concerning the portable hard disk God grants me previously. i asked for lean from my youngest elder sister, she promised but so far didn't inform me when i can get it. sinful eldest brother approached me by the excuse of talking his daughter in college in Wuhan, and sat on my stool and profaned quite some moments. i sang for joys after published recent photos. God, dad, Masheng, when is my new marriage that brings me harmony never seen?

baby’s birthday ignored by his mom.^read most day. dozed at noon but woke up by 2 visiting old women in the village. shown them online album for one of them shot by me previously. arranged downloading after dinner then haunted outside. shot some photos in front plaza. chatted with an villager once worked in the county city. baby’s mom, emakingir, tentatively ignored baby’s birthday today, abiding her mother’s freaky picking baby’s birthday annually by comparing lunar calendar with Gregorian calendar. shits!
sick and sin of mother.^read all day. mother fetched the granddaughter-in-law of my elder brother, a Hu, who is about 2 years old and likely lack of affection, to home to care, for elder brother family busy with field harvest. cared download. at noon got the idea that equipped myself with a portable harddisk. buzzed my youngest elder sister&got her promise of lend me the money. mother complained of sick of too many shits, bought some medicine late afternoon. i haunted outside after dinner, chatted with a worker of state grid but lives in the village. mother again surveillance me&urged me to return home early when i in chat. in night her sick view of personal affection or love shown itself, which quite sinful as God informed me already, to me. God, dad, i never waste a second on the dark in my mother’s soul, i linger here for u, for my new life with my girls, esp. girl zhou, my 3rd wife, and my second wife, Masheng, never let me fail in peace on ur lovable land, Zhudajiu village.

haircut.^sleepy morning. haircut after breakfast, bu the visiting barber's razor let my upper lid bleeding. it drizzled in the morning. hope i can get my portable hardisk sooner.
raining day.^read all time. second time told mother God grants me no anxiousness with living (yesterday told her God grants the new portable harddisk.), to assure her to rip her usual doubts. she sinfully left dad's house at once in doubts, i also re-download a radio software to reconnect to bible radio. sleepy when i rest on long bench while listening preach in air, however, i managed on notebook, &finished following a talk program from the radio. God, Masheng, let me get my portable harddisk tomorrow in a sunny day, let me talk to baby&his mom, &fix her chrome sooner. Masheng, u asked for assignment, i know, pl bring my girl zhou, as well as my other girls under my Royal of China, join me in new marriage ahead in most blessed time or moment.

************** Part III. PhotoWingPro *****************
For the viewing and browsing of images speed up, the prescan image in the opened folder is an usual way, but the software level is very differently between some authors. ExifPro is faster speed to viewing and browsing the embedded JPEG (RAW) and the JPEG. ExifPro take one-time scanning the image file in the current window, then the thumbnail images and the prescan of the full screen viewing would get ready. In the embedded JPEG (RAW) and the JPEG, ExifPro is quite outstanding speed at browsing or viewing, and a fairly low consumption takes up the processor resources, but its performance of the Tiff / PSD side has some imperfections.
In the embedded JPEG (RAW) and the JPEG (8bit/sRGB), ExifPro's one-time scan is faster than PhotoWingPro way, which is rare pace, but the folder does not contain any Tiff or PSD put to ExifPro viewing.
PhotoWingPro has been taken an alone way.
In the main window of PhotoWingPro, it will scan the image files of the current window to display the thumbnails, and then the medium-term previewing will second time read all the image files of this folder, its second time reading is really ready to the full screen mode of speedup. Pressing a hotkey F4 under the previewing window, then the display mode would enter a full screen image. The scan in preview window was slightly slowed.

Advice:
The sRGB profile would not impair to your image file, while in another AdobeRGB system, the profile can be switched, and its work-space is AdobeRGB mode, when it being needed. In the more application situation, you should select a sRGB profile to insert on the image. Only the few monitor and software can be effectively viewing the AdobeRGB color's edge of utmost. Secondly, AdobeRGB can be being rightly compatible and to be simultaneously displayed within sRGB window, there a correct color can be simultaneously displaying sRGB and AdobeRGB both images, such image viewer is also few, for instance this PhotoWingPro. Usually, the AdobeRGB is mainly being application to the post processing of the printed industry, but you did not need to uneasy about the sRGB profile in your photos. The sRGB profile can be switched to the AdobeCMYK, and the AdobeCMYK is more important than AdobeRGB.
AdobeRGB work-space does not mean that the image will be better color, only available to a high-level monitor could view the AdobeRGB color's edge of utmost. The CRT monitor period, the high-level Mitsubishi Diamondtron CRT (anti-dazzle layer included) was widely applied at the high performance monitor, and that 500 USD will easily get a 19-inch of the high performance monitor, but this LCD times were the tattered TN panels overran the market. In the ExifPro or PhotoWingPro, if you want viewing and browsing of both of very quickly in the images, then you should be careful your devices, a USB 1.1 or a bad mobile storage equipment will be obvious to destroy the speed in viewing and browsing.

4. The thumbnail images get automatically refreshed
PhotoWingPro is able to automatically refresh its thumbnail images in the current window, once the new image is added to this opened folder, did not need the other operation. (very good).
(We need this: in the outdoors situation, tripod, camera, UMPC, shooting scenery.
When you have interval shooting the new image, and the camera has connected on an UMPC by the USB port, once the UMPC has resumed up from the sleep mode, which in PhotoWingPro is able to directly view the new image within the camera (your images get copied ago), and the image window does not need to refresh manually. In this period, image viewer does not need to close down, which is just a computer sleep mode. When the computer entered the sleep mode, its USB port is automatically suspension, but the computer was resumed, then the USB connection would be automatically resumed. But in this, the PhotoWingPro is having another trouble to should be resolved, see below.)
5. The image rotation can preset to disable
The image rotation by the exif info of camera is an available function in the PhotoWingPro, but the user can preset to non-rotate automatically. This presettable item is very useful, especially is an UMPC or UMID under the full screen image mode. Typically, in a desktop system it needs to rotate automatically of the image, but the UMPC (Tablet PC) is a handheld device, and its screen is smaller, which is easily turning to a horizontal or vertical position on your hand, so it did not need to automatically rotate the image in the full screen mode. If the automatic rotate of image applied to a 7-inch UMPC, then a showed image will be too small, (its screen height is only a 3.6-inch, 1024x600).
Above said the rotate of image is only related on the full screen image mode.
In the thumbnail images, the automatic rotate of image has won welcomed, either desktop system or UMPC. However, when the full screen image is over the UMPC, did not need to rotate automatically of the image.
6. The multi-windows in the Windows
PhotoWingPro can be opened with the multi-windows in the Windows OS. You can be browsing and viewing the image of the each folder by the PhotoWingPro multi-windows. Looks like MS's IE can run multi-windows.
7. sRGB and AdobeRGB both are compatible
sRGB and AdobeRGB both are compatible very well. Under the PhotoWingPro color management, AbobeRGB and sRGB both are able to be simultaneously showed up a same correct color. Both images are simultaneously displaying in the PhotoWingPro window. (PhotoWingPro color management can be presetting to turn on/off. When its color management been disabled, AdobeRGB would be displayed a deviant color.)

PhotoWingPro did not change the ICC profile of the image. (ICC management is mainly applied to the image post-processing. And it will consume more processor resources and power supply, then in the UMPC should set disabled it. Although PhotoWingPro gained solved quite good between systems consumption and the color management. )
This color management way looks like the PhaseOne's CaptureOne viewing mode under the color management, regardless of your image is what the ICC profile, which it will be automatically corrected and show up a same color effect at the current device.
Adobe Lightroom has a same color effect to the image viewing, then it did not have due to two kinds the ICC profile to get trouble. It is able to automatically check to switch the colour space, making the image got a correct display. When I have sRGB mode, if guest is AdobeRGB, then I will automatically switch guest follow to sRBG. In CaptureOne or Lightroom, their storage image can choose various ICC profiles, or that the original profile can be kept in the image.
8. The huge images been excellently supported
Even though the images are 40M Pixels JPEG/per 24MB or Tiff/AdobePSD/per 115MB, but the PhotoWingPro thumbnail images or its full screen image all are unhindered, did not fall into the quagmire, even is being color management ran. PhotoWingPro is excellently supporting the huge image of Tiff and AdobePSD to viewing. (Tiff or PSD is limited to 8bit of RGB).

P.S. In Photoshop, these huge JPEG images can save as another format images, as like Tiff, PSD, for the color profile to take the sRGB, or the AdobeRGB, AdobeCMYK.
-------------- PhotoWingPro flaws ------------------
1. The full screen viewing have to firstly run the thumbnail window
PhotoWingPro's full screen image mode cannot take directly started in Windows explorer, and the full screen image viewing cannot get started by the PhotoWingPro thumbnail. The previewing window must get running. Also, you cannot take a double click on the preview image to get the full screen viewing, very bad!
If you want to view the full screen image, which you have to take 3 steps: 1. PhotoWingPro thumbnail window; 2. the previewing window; 3. the full screen image.

As author of PhotoWingPro is intended to improve the faster speed of thumbnails, the thumbnail displaying have an alone scan, then the medium-term previewing will be second time to scan all the images in this folder, its second time scan is really ready to the full screen mode of speedup. Well, if we take the Windows explorer to start PhotoWingPro viewing the full screen image, PhotoWingPro should get enter second step and not first thumbnail image window.
2. The double click on preview image cannot get the full screen viewing
You cannot take a double click on the preview image to get the full screen viewing, it is very bad!
Starting the PhotoWingPro's full screen viewing must press hotkey F4, or a virtual button. The many UMPC, UMID, Netbook, they have only the alphabetic keys, no F1 - F12 key, no direct numeric keys.
In PhotoWingPro, the double-click function did not get a reasonable application, this is a waste of resource. To start or exit the full screen image the operation should use the double-click function.
As other image viewer, ExifPro, FastStone, as long as a double click on the thumbnail then the full screen image to get viewing, despite are also having the hotkey of the full screen viewing. And the FastStone is more a reasonable of whole layout to the double-click function.
3. The info display must take beforehand selected
The info display of PhotoWingPro must take beforehand selected, and then you can watch the histogram and exif info. When the image is the full screen mode that its histogram cannot turn on/off. (very obvious flaw).
4. Histogram is too small and too imprecisely
PhotoWingPro has only a small histogram, which is too small! And too imprecisely. (very obvious flaw).

5. The info font of exif is small
The info font of exif is small, if you are using a 5-inch UMPC in the outdoors, maybe you could be difficulty to read.
6. PhotoWingPro lacks the preview bar in the full screen viewing
PhotoWingPro did not have a preview bar in the full screen image viewing. (Another image viewer ExifPro has a preview bar for the full screen image viewing, its layout can be changed the size and horizontal or vertical, and also it can be turned on/off.)

7. The original folder object cannot get kept when computer to exit sleep
If your camera has been connected to a UMPC or Notebook, and in the PhotoWingPro window to view the image within camera, after UMPC switched to sleep, once resumed, then the PhotoWingPro window would leave the original camera folder, which is unable to keep on the original folder object.
It is needed to add an option, making the PhotoWingPro can be selected another mode. It should not be always to popup the dialog box of the file transfers, sometimes is needed to avoid the USB signal of Windows.
I have already disabled a service item at the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA), and the Windows AutoPlay has been completely disabled, but did not solve the above causing trouble. This trouble is within PhotoWingPro.
8. The file transfers in second time to be unsuccessful
In PhotoWingPro, another trouble is the file transfers as the second time, once the transferring been interrupted, or the local storage folder of computer is being deleted, then the next time will be unable to copy these image files by the PhotoWingPro.
9. Copying needs to skip off the same name files
Copying the image files that PhotoWingPro needs an optional item to be making it can automatically skip off the same name files, (old image files).
(Maybe this not a problem because there some the Japanese menu are displayed the disorderly font, then the transmission interface cannot be correctly setting? ).
Another problem, if your two cameras are same of a model product that you might encounter some trouble? Did you want to automatically copy the files?
10. The cache data way needs an optional menu
PhotoWingPro does not save the cache file of image to the HDD. When PhotoWingPro gets ran, its image cache data will be saved to the physical memory, until computer shuttered down. This cache data will not consume a large amount of memory.
PhotoWingPro needs to provide an optional menu, let us select: 1. PhotoWingPro cache way of default setting; 2. The cache data been written a bin file and saved to the local HDD.
11. The color management needs to get directly turned on/off
The PhotoWingPro interface needs to add a button of the color management to get directly turned on/off.
12. PhotoWingPro199.ini file put to the Windows OS folder
The PhotoWingPro199.ini file put to the Windows OS folder, which is a worst way! I do not understand the author intention of PhotoWingPro.
Secondly, this way would cause the Windows Users account to be unable applicative in PhotoWingPro, then you have to take an Administrator account login Windows due to using PhotoWingPro. There is apparently a security problem.
PhotoWingPro would tell you cannot login to User Account running the PhotoWingPro.
Except PhotoWingPro, all the other image viewer are normal running under the User Account.
Typically, an Administrator Account is just for the computer maintenance, but the daily work should be the User Account to login Windows, it is computer security knowledge.
-------- Wishing and other over the PhotoWingPro --------
1. English and Chinese at the new version needs added
I have a strong desire that PhotoWingPro provides English and Chinese at the new version.
2. The above flaws need to get improved
3. The user interface needs to get improved
The user interface needs to get improved, also the right mouse button needs to get using.
4. Maybe the work space could be switched
If the viewing speed of image can be keeping, there will be proposed an added option to the PhotoWingPro color space mode, to the work space is able to switch between sRGB and AdobeRGB.
This is mainly for the post-processing to the image viewing, only an available high-level monitor could view the AdobeRGB color's edge of utmost. If your monitor is only a less than 400 USD, or monitor is only a notebook (laptop computer, regardless of being Windows or Mac), then you are unable to view all the AdobeRGB color effect.
5. Maybe support the CMYK Tiff images
PhotoWingPro does not support the CMYK Tiff images, (this CMYK Tiff is only for the printing industry to professional post-processing needs).
As the image viewer, Windows XP itself the embedded image viewer is compatible with the CMYK Tiff 8-bit, but the picture must insert the ICC profile, (such as AdobeCMYK profile). However, Windows itself the image viewer is away from people's desire. Some other software can view the CMYK Tiff images, but those software are usually image editing or processing, rather than an image viewer.
For the 2D image, people need a better image viewer. Adobe Bridge CS3/CS4 is unsatisfactory thing.
Adobe does not allow to take a separately installed AbobeBridge, AdobeBridge has no histogram, and the full screen mode of manual slide to the magnifying 100% function will have consumed the tremendous resource of the processor, especially is RAW image. Adobe Bridge's start is slow, a strong processor must be based, and not suitable for the UMPC.
If a non-normal way make Bridge CS3/CS4 to a separately installed, then it will be unable to correctly display the image of AdobeRGB or CMYK. Also, once Adobe Bridge launched then it will not support the newer camera RAW after 2 years, all these are high price under.
The Adobe Bridge CS4 its messy cache files are like slurry flood will fill over your harddisk. Adobe Bridge CS4 is worse than Bridge CS3.
In the RAW image viewing, once the RAW images been imported into Lightroom (or ACR), then the Adobe Bridge would be displaying with Lightroom/ACR color and gray level, and not the original RAW image. If you want to see the original effect in the RAW image, here is required to take another manual operation. A strange and complex way.
Another problem, the user interface of Adobe Bridge CS3/CS4 is very bad, (not conducive to using, and not only cosmetology problem), but Adobe Photoshop CS3 interface is very well. The Adobe Bridge and Adobe Photoshop CS3 both of them are tremendous disparity.
Under the exorbitant price's Adobe CreativeSuite kit or Photoshop, Adobe Bridge has some special functions over the CreativeSuite/Photoshop, whereas as an image viewer, the Adobe Bridge CS3/CS4 is unsatisfactory thing.

You will not believe this. Around an hour ago I copied my pictures from the camera to my mac. When I was done I deleted the pictures off my camera as I usually do. So then I went to check out the pictures and I couldn't find them! I did a full harddisk search and I couldn't find the pictures. I must have not dragged and dropped correctly or something because none of the pictures got copied onto my mac! I tried using the software Data Rescue but it couldn't recover anything for some reason. What was I gonna do? I needed a picture of a day. I took a quick glance around my room and couldn't find anything worth shooting and talking about so I got an idea. How about I shoot something that looks cool and then tell you how I did it? So thats what I did. The picture above was taken straight off the camera. Like all my other pictures on this site no special effects were added or photoshopped. So how was this picture taken? Its very easy and you can do it yourself. All you need is a camera where you can control the shutter speed, a dark room with no lights coming into it at all, and finally, a light source that will give out a faint light like for example a laser pen or an LED like I used. Now that you have all the items go to the room where you will shoot. Setup your camera on a table or a chair or something solid. Then make sure the camera's shutter speed is set to 10 seconds. Turn off the lights and close the door. Now go hit the Shoot button on the camera and quickly stand in-front of it and wave your light source and voilà! Easy no?

About the ArnoShutter
This is the prototype of my DIY shutter system to take strobed macrophoto’s in combination with my ArnoSync controller. The shutter concept is very simple : a single solenoid winded on a suitable ferro kernel and embedded in a resin with the size and shape of a sugar cube. A light weight armature cut out of a piece of 0.25 mm (250 micron) thick polycarbonate and a suitable Neodymium (NdFeB) magnet forms the heart of the shutter. My previous DIY shutter anno 2010, was built around a voicecoil of an old 3.5 inch harddisk. Both shutter systems have about the same response times but this version is much more lighter and simpler to build. Finding (enough) suitable harddisk servo systems to experiment is not always easy. A typical shutterlag of 5 msec to full open, and another 5 msec to be fully closed can be achieved. The shutter armature is cut from a piece of polycarbonate or equivalent material. I did also tests with several other materials such as 0.10 mm thick aluminum striped from a beercan or plastic material used in the food-package industry. Also some blister package material from electronic devices are usable, but then some parts must be painted in black to make it opaque. Until now the shutter system in the field uses black 0.25 mm (250 micron) polycarbonate material from Sabic- Lexan FR25A. It has shown the best overall specs in terms of weight, strength and durability. Building a double armature version with a single coil or a double coil version with a single armature are possible alternatives to be investigated. This may help to shorten the shutter lag and close times which is a must for this kind of macrophotography. This is of course an ideal job for the coming winter. This DIY shutter system keeps me busy as a retired engineer and the experiments brings my a lot of fun. Unfortunatly my big hands and dito fingers are sometimes a big handycap to work with this very smal parts. In the good old day’s (seventies) when dinausurus where speeking, I developed a simular application for an electronic jacquard card cutting machine, so it nice to play with permanent magnets again.
