We had a wonderful celebration with Hillary in the morning and then saw two good friends while Hillary rested up to try to get rid of her cold. We were two Northfield girls with our MIT husbands. That creates a special bond.

Years ago, I took this analogue photo of our dear Käterchen, which we liked so much that we framed the enlargement and since then it hangs in our kitchen.

Thanks very much for following me! We have had 12 hours of 2022 now and so far so good in our quiet home. Fireworks were cancelled this year to prevent spread although as far as I know we don't have any cases within 300 km. Stay safe!
