As usual I will be working Thanksgiving so I am Wishing all those who celebrate a wonderful and very happy Thanksgiving. To those of you who don't I wish you a fantastic week!

Taking a quick detour from the Tassie beachscapes to share a simple iPhone snap of Jazzy while walking at our local dog-friendly beach today. She’s pushing 13 now (in human years, she’s ancient… in dog years, she’s just refined). Regardless of age she will always be my “Pup”
Jazzy loves the beach, clearly a trait she inherited from her human dad 😉 Today she was tearing up and down the sand dunes like a pup half her age, thinking it was hilarious to run into me for a pat at the bottom. Then she hit the surf club café with us, hoping to score a few burger scraps. I may have weakened and given her a few.
She wasn’t the only hopeful diner, the seagulls had formed a very photographable line along the railing, telling me "MINE! MINE! MINE!”. I ignored them, it was mine!
I didn't have a camera with me today and the ocean and sky looked so photogenic, but it was nice to just be in the moment. A simple beach walk, some dog joy, and a burger by the sea - that will do me for a happy life.

This scary creature is a painted aluminum sculpture by Ugo Rondinone called ’Moonrise’. Displayed with several other figurative sculptures, this eight-foot-high bust is derived from African tribal masks and was modeled in clay before being cast in aluminum and painted. Photographed at the Pappajohn Sculpture Park in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Have a safe and happy Halloween !!

Happy Caturday 24 April 2020 "Make us smile." This picture always makes me smile because she is so often busy with grooming all that hair - and look at that tongue! what a piece of equipment. And my camera actually got a photo, which makes me smile too.
When I placed warm, just-dried laundry on the kitchen counter, Jimmy could not have been more happy. I took lots of photos; thank you for your indulgence.

These wild turkeys were found wandering on someones front lawn in New Jersey. We pulled over and took pics from across the street. My 1st (and only) turkey pics!! A very exciting day. ;-)
