The mountain on the right is Superstition Mountain. November 23, a small plane crashed in to that mountain and so far no survivors. Please keep the victims and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

Photoshop
This pure photoshop work consists of over 20 layers, telling you all about this would take too much time, so here a few tricks :
1) Indicate the centre of the image by using guides :
° Press Ctrl-R to get the rulers showing.
° Click and drag from the rulers area, you'll see a cyan coloured guide, drag it
to the centre, there it should snap into place, release the button to drop it there.
Do this for both horizontal and vertical to see where the centre is.
° You can show/hide these guides using Ctrl/H
2) To get those rays of light shooting out from the centre :
° Create a new layer.
° Take the brush tool and the white color, take a brush tool of an appropriate size.
° Hold one finger on the shift button.
° Click in the centre of the image and hold down, the sprayed down brush should grow.
° Release and move to the edge of the image again, hold down the shift now and give
a short click.
A line should be drawn decreasing from the bigger size you've layed down in the centre to the small size at the edge.
Repeat this in a few random directions.
° After this you can perhaps apply a gaussian blur on the rays and play around with the blending mode of the layer.
3) To get extra light around the heart :
° Make a duplicate of the heart layer and fill the heart with white.
° Perform a big 'radial blur with zoom' on it.
° I used the blending mode 'Lighten' and dropped the opacity to 60%.

My youngest granddaughter turned 6 today. I took this picture when I was visiting. She is a thinker - can you tell. She is also very full of energy and a thoughtful young lady.
