The other day my sisters and I were chatting about doodling/drawing, and how we enjoyed it when we were younger......I said I don't draw much anymore.
Actually, I do quick sketches at work every day though.....quickie cartoonish, comics-style stuff!
This is my teacher sample for one of my classroom bulletin boards, probably done in 20 minutes or so (the length of a recess!) I do a lot of teacher samples and teacher modelling......following the principle of Show, not tell. Show students how to do something, not just tell them.
This day was a fun filled day for me as the privileged family photographer for the day. Our day started at 6:00am and ended at 11:00pm. I was honored to document thru photography a couple's most important day of their lives, their wedding day.
I captured over 1,500 moments in photography which our family and friends can always look back years from now and remember this day. The day when the couples became husband and wife.
Reviewing and editing 1,500 images will take me some time. I will post most of the images but not all.
This was a wonderful experience for me. The next day I was totally sore from carrying my camera bag and gear and not to mention all of the running around. I trully enjoyed trying the photojournalist style of photography.

It made me feel good to see such a happy couple. Seeing them was a nice change from the usual mushy, kissy couples I always see in the City. One might think that they are posing for a photo here but they weren't. The guy just kept whispering in her ears and she just kept on giggling. So sweet! :)

The answer to that question with out a doubt would be my family.
I had to wait for my kids to get home from school before I could take my photo and I had to do it quickly before we ran out of light. Olive has figured out that if she poses for photos she gets treats so was very willing to join us in our "happy" photo. The ""Mr." was still at work.

Pictures I shot at the wedding from Pascalle & Jos. Very warm, open and friendly people, with whom it clicked right of the bat.
The larger part of the day was at the residence of Pascalle's father, who lives in a magnificent old farm, which also proved to be a good background for the photoshoot.
The party was held in a golfclub nearby, Jos works at the golfclub and is a pro golfer. When we visited the golfclub, I came up with the idea to shoot him in his natural habitat.
