A set of loudspeakers made of old Chinese suitcases. The suitcases are decorated with double happiness symbols and the mandarin duck couple. These suitcases most probably used to be wedding gifts. The double happiness sign and the mandarin duck couple are signs for good luck and a long relationship.

Day 3 - Happiness. My Stairway to Happiness. 6 yrs ago I added a 2nd floor to my house. Then - it seemed like a financial no-brainer. Now, not so much. My house is worth less than I owe or can sell it for. Join the club. But if I had to do it over again would I make the same decision? Absolutely. Some of the most amazing things happened for my daughter and I in adding that 2nd floor. She got the room she always dreamed of, I learned I was capable of dealing with the daily challenge of living in a construction zone, I figured out the guy that "loved" me only loved me because he thought I needed his money/dependence, and the best - we brought Inken Inken K Zulla into our lives. I would not have been able to do that without the addition. No brainer...I'd do it all over again

Each day, I reflect and say thanks. While praying especially for folks in Boston this morning...I wish each of 'em to find happiness once again. So, what makes you happy today, my knitterly friends?
For me, it felt like Christmas this morning--*kid you not*--when this appears after MIA since last week...and the battery has only 1/8 of the charge left. See...happiness does come in a small package. Or, I'm just easy to please.

Seriously. After my hair cut, I went down graffiti alley to hunt this new piece I saw last night when I didn't have my Pentax with me. As I was finishing taking shots, the back door opens from one of the Queen street shops and a guy comes out. We chat for a little while and as we go to bid each other good night, he asks me if I like cupcakes. "Um yes!" (who the hell doesn't?!) And then he hands me a bag with two little cupcakes in it.
His name is Virg (like Virgil I think) and he works at Dlish Cupcakes on Queen! Whoo hooo! The one on the left is a vanilla cupcake and the one with the sprinkles is chocolate. Both were quite yummy but I liked the chocolate one much more. NOM NOM NOM!

シーの早朝開園待ちがかなりのダメージでもう帰ろうかとも思ったのですが、まだ一度も観ていないハピネスイズヒアのスペシャルバージョンを観て行くことにしました。
ミキミニポジがよく分からないので後方で適当に場所確認でいいかなって思っていたのに、ちょっと最前にスペースを見つけてうっかりそのまま2時間半ほど待機（これまた極寒）、始まって停止してみたらここダメじゃん、、、次は頑張ります。

To each his/her own. In my case happiness is a cup of tea, Mr. JS Bach on the 8-track, and a book to read (or in this case, re-read, since I've read Anathem a few times, twice in a row when I first got it, all 1000+ pages of it) at the end of a work day.
