The tangine is the same lightweight plastic, but points for even making a tangine, we haven't seen one of those before. It's the same rosemary as in set # 3 & the whitefish is nice, but the broccoli is made of transparent green plastic. There might be some paint on it, but you can see in the bottom.
Photographing a stranger is a challenge. But all it takes for him to smile is a gentle approach and asking him how is his day going. A few good words exchanged is worth a beautiful shot. More than the photograph it’s the story’s and the emotion created between you and the subject.

The flowers look beautiful, and I love flowers, so there's a beautiful joyous smile on my face. It's all so simple. Some people seek happiness at the other side of the world or in complicated ways, yet often happiness is just easy and very close to you. Like my dress; happiness can't get closer than that. Or right in front of you, like these lovely flowers.
Happiness uplifts me
Happiness fills my heart, my mind, and my soul
Happiness gives me the strength I need
Happiness is a good feeling that enters my mind each day!!!!

Toronto's Distillery District is now one of the trendiest parts of the city with high end shops entertainment, art and restaurants. The Gooderham and Worts Distillery was originally founded in 1832 by Brothers-in-law William Gooderham and James Worts. It eventually became the largest distillery in the British Empire. (Part of my Toronto's Historic Distillery set).

The Way to Happiness Is Self-forgetful Love. A second realization follows closely upon this one; that the way to unhappiness is self-regard, self-worry, self-ishness and the search for personal happiness. Our happiness comes to us only when we do not seek for it. It comes to us when we seek to bring it to others instead. (Peter Kreeft)

Happiness is being home again,
Happiness is walking in the rain.
Happiness is waking with no pain.
Happiness is family to me,
Happiness in the faces, I longed to see,
Happiness is once more being free.

[...] We find a delight in the beauty and happiness of children, that makes the heart too big for the body [...]

I was at the botanical gardens. I was trying to shoot a butterfly in flight. I hadn't adjusted my settings on the camera yet. The butterfly was not in the frame but this candid was there. I almost deleted it but left it in the camera until I got home. I saw it again while I was sorting through my shots for processing and thought it was worth working on a little bit. I was pleased with the results.

May you all have a safe, happy & healthy new year!
I wish you all the best for 2012!
May the new year bring you all happiness and good fortune.
**Soo... as some of you may know New Year's Day is my BIRTHDAY!
Yep.
Another year older.
Jeez time flies.
*smiles* So far I'm having a great beginning to my birthday celebration.. Spending quality time with my family.. smiling, laughing, joking & just enjoying each other's company. I wouldn't want to be spending my New Year's Eve/ Birthday Eve any other way! :]

I loved the way that this photo came out.
I've been wanting so bad to go outside and take some nature photos, but it has been soo cold out. Today it was a lot nicer outside (surprisingly warm) and sunny.. So I brought the family and my camera outside and snapped some nature photos.
Honestly I got so many photos that I was really happy with today.. I wasn't sure which one to post - [soo I might post a couple more of them soon..]
..This photograph to me says, "finding happiness". Not only because when I was outside with my camera and my family, enjoying the day and doing what I love so much (taking photos) - and 'finding happiness' - but it's a photograph of a dead leaf.. on a cheery light blue background which seems kind of optimistic in a way to me. Normally you don't see brown dead leaves on such a vibrant background - and in my opinion it makes my image happy [which dead leaves normally are not].. which is why I decided on this title.
Again I'm wishing you all a great New Year.
If you are celebrating tonight enjoy yourself but please be safe!
Take care!

Candid, yes candid, street portrait taken at very close range in Glasgow, Scotland. Remembering that the definition of candid is 'not posed and not rehearsed'.
This guy and his friend were thoroughly enjoying the dancing of "The Glasgow Silent Raver' and I had chatted with them briefly without showing my camera-hand. I managed to raise my camera and capture this shot candidly before he had any real time to react, and I love the intimacy of the shot and eye contact that resulted. As always you can enjoy full screen detail by pressing 'L' or clicking the image.
Si tuviera que elegir una imagen del verano, sin duda alguna, sería ésta.
Duna en el agua.
Felicidad ABSOLUTA.
