Candid, yes candid, street portrait taken at very close range in Glasgow, Scotland. Remembering that the definition of candid is 'not posed and not rehearsed'.
This guy and his friend were thoroughly enjoying the dancing of "The Glasgow Silent Raver' and I had chatted with them briefly without showing my camera-hand. I managed to raise my camera and capture this shot candidly before he had any real time to react, and I love the intimacy of the shot and eye contact that resulted. As always you can enjoy full screen detail by pressing 'L' or clicking the image.

So the other day me and my Girl friend went out for a walk and i needed some photos for my exam work in college and i was doing happiness so she allowed me to get some photos of her! These are only a few of the many photos i got but i haven't had time to edit them! I never really edit the image too much except just change the contrast and levels just to give it that extra bit of depth! I just used my Prime 28mm lense! i got some cracking shots! she was the perfect person to pick for my photos because she is beautiful!

Happiness is a warm smoker...
I love smoked meats, so this sight makes me very happy. For this I just fired up the smoker a short time before, and this is the initial surge of smoke. For 117 pictures in 2017, #18, "happiness is..."
Happiness is when a surprising gift of a kind heart is well given. Just simple as that.
