... walking on a 'deserted' beach, camera in hand, taking deep gulp of that salty sea-air, hearing the waves break or the wavelets ripple.
Eyes scanning for beauty in the sky or in the sand, aah and then, and then discovering a natural painting of different seaweed at my feet.
We were on the North Sea Coast in The North East of England, Northumberland.
I do realise that it is not to everybody's taste, it takes a certain 'eye' to appreciate these.
The thing is, a photographer should not take images for other people, not to please anyone, I take them because they touch me...
It is always a bonus if others also see that.
Thank you for your time and comments, greatly appreciated, M, (*_*)

This is the D-Tower, a project of the artist Q. Serafijn and architect Lars Spuybroek. The people of the town Doetinchem can participate too. This tower can change color and the mood of the participants decide which color it will be. Yellow = fear, green = hatred, red = love, ofcourse, and blue = happiness.

Happiness rarely arrives by reason. It does not answer when called.
Sometimes, it simply appears — in a brief moment of laughter, before we even ask why.
It doesn’t promise clarity or permanence. Yet in that fragile instant, it proves one simple truth:
we are still alive, still capable of breathing without explanation.
In honor of Lelya, keeper of love — for all fragile moments that choose us.

أذهب الآن لأنام قليلا وأدعولكل الذين صفت قلوبهم من الحسد والضغينة ، أما الذين حملتها قلوبهم وسعوا في الخلاص منها فسأدعو لهم مرتين.

This amazing woman is 70. She lives 2 hours boat ride from Hsipaw in a tiny hut in the middle of nowhere. She decided to move there when her husband died. Her 3 children live in Hsipaw and regularly take supplies to her by boat. Twice a week she climbs quite a steep path and makes the one hour journey to the monastery to pray.
Shan State, Myanmar.

Our Candle Lights
A poem by Peter S. Quinn
Our candle lights are burning
In its ever glowing out
Thru day and dims learning
What brightness is about
A gentle feeling to tender
Within the heart's deep
And to its love surrender
For days and years to keep
This light's like a morning
That passes here thru
Without any forward warning
It just is all true
In its on flickers yearning
That gives its renew
Our candlelight that’s burning
In its hour and venue
Our moments are always going
In the steady time on
Like light of candles glowing
Till all of it is gone
A day and night is lighter
With its turning flame
And futures tomorrow brighter
It never stays the same
“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.”
Helen Keller
Her rainbow gleam of eyes,
taut triumph of her lifted cheeks
as the playful diamond dipped
deep into the dancing blue

Does it surprise you that I would order a beer named this, brewed by a brewery named Big Dog's Brewing? If so....we need to talk. At Frankie's Uptown, Summerlin, NV
Happiness often sneaks in through the window you didn't know you left open.
