I had a very frustrating day today, probably the most stressful day I've had in a long time and it was completely out of my control which made it even more difficult. Here's hoping tomorrow is brighter and better. Super Grover saved the day.

This was taken in an abandoned ketchup factory during the flickr meetup in Indiana.
The factory we visited was probably my favourite location of the whole trip, it became a beehive of activity during the two days we shot there. It was so cool to walk through the the rooms and see a new photoshoot happening around every corner. Even in this photo, there were three shoots happening just behind my camera and at times there were five people just watching me set up this little scene. It took me about 20 minutes to move each little section of bricks from a crumbling section on the third floor to this big room with these cool windows.
I feel as though I managed to capture little bits of happiness from each of the people I met and I'm now carrying them with me everywhere I go.

Since I love flowers so much my hubby bought this gorgeous green yellow orchid for me for my birthday. The man truly knows me, and he enjoys them too. I hope one and all have a loving and peaceful Easter!

In Vientiene, capital of Laos PDR, I walked along the street, seeing this girl on her work taking care of her brother in the paper box. I made sign asking to make photo she smiled and posted but her brother didn't get along well. He cried and wanted to be out of the box...
I took shot fast and it was not so sharp... Just trying to capture real feeling

I don't know why this photo makes me feel happy. Maybe it's because it was a beautiful sunny day when I took it.
was at the park a couple of days back. this kid was so happy chasing bubbles. life seemed so simple. happiness for her was truly homemade. reminded me of simpler days :)
the title there was was also the title of a book my parents had on their book shelf, this picture reminded me of the that book and how i used to wonder as a kid what that meant...i guess now i know.
