Hummingbird moths were happily enjoying the obedient blossoms. The plants are named for the way the individual blossom stays put where you move it.

Rock Wrens live in south west USA. This one, found on a farm in Eastern Ontario, Canada a few miles north of the St Lawrence River was a long way from home. He was first spotted along a rock fence line and lived there happily during the fall. As winter arrived, he moved into a very large farm workshop and and took up residence. The owners noticed him and initially tried to shoo him out. As the cold and snow arrived they started buying mealworms and feeding him. As you can see he became very tame, eating out of anyone’s hand and coming to a whistle. It was fun to watch him bouncing around on farm equipment and fun to feed him.

It has been a while since I posted an elephant photo. Here a mother elephant and her calf are having a peaceful time grazing on the African Savannah. This photo was taken in the Masai Mara in Kenya, Africa!
I haven't posted in a while. A lot seems to be going on despite the Covid lockdown.
But, no matter what, we always find time for a nap on the sofa. And while I sleep I know that I will be safe and well looked after.
A group of young Kiwi ladies head down the Hutt River for a laugh. And even though it is winter... and raining, they were laughing (and it did look like fun).
There was a fish swimming happily in a pond until an osprey came and snatched it out of the water. As the osprey was flying away with its prize, a bald eagle came and stole away the fish. The eagle then enjoyed his free fish, saving the tail for last.
