My blue Marguerite 'felicia amelloides' daisies, happily absorbing the northern sun here at Cherrybrook in northern Sydney. They are from the 'Plants Plus' nursery and garden centre, in the Cumberland Forest, at West Pennant Hills.

I spotted this one on the hike I went on Saturday. I've hiked Bright Leaf Preserve about a year ago and some how missed this old homemade bench. I'm often, happily amazed, at how creative people can be. This was made in the days when we didn't throw everything away.

It's Halloween time!
Spotted this sign on a starting point for a walk in the dunes of Terschelling.
I haven't posted in a while. A lot seems to be going on despite the Covid lockdown.
But, no matter what, we always find time for a nap on the sofa. And while I sleep I know that I will be safe and well looked after.
Set off for my morning paper and found around twenty Redwings happily feeding in the tree opposite the shop, as I only live a few hundred yards away nipped home and got my camera and had a very productive few minutes in the sunshine taking images of them.
alas, my dslr shutter has broken after only four years. while it's away for repair, I'm getting to know the old superzoom again. they say the camera you have with you is the best.. it's partly true ;-) luckily the other part is that nature tells good stories.

Today I attended one of my relative's wedding
She was quite happy in posing for the camera
I was not having any DSLR with me but there was a bunch of photographers clicking with their mirror-less Sony and Nikon cameras
Happily, we were able to sort out Facebook, and I am back on my computer! Let's hope this is where I stay now!

Can't resist posting three shots of this very photogenic Canary Islands and Madeira endemic... Berthelot's Pipit is fairly common on La Palma, but this bird was particularly confiding at Fuencaliente saltpans where it happily posed for the camera.
