Hanoi stands out for two reasons: it has some of the best food and the best street life of anywhere on our trip. Food and street life are often intertwined, as vendors set up tiny stalls on the sidewalk selling some of the city's most delicious meals, and fruit vendors carrying their wares on bicycles or shoulder poles weave their way through the manic traffic.
