Rather than blogging for many I'm handwriting to a few. It's stupid how my hand hurts and how tricky it is to form words. I need to handwrite more often as typing has completely taken over the way I communicate.

CD case for my friends band, their songs focus around society and the destruction of our planet. Inside cover includes a concetina which I willl get the bandmembers to handwrite the lyrics onto, and it comes with a fold out poster. Final outcome will be screenprinted and bound with book cloth.

On a random bus stop in London some notes appeared posted on the glass. They are removed and a few days later new ones pop up. Notes from a barely legible handwrite carrying messages directed to a specific Scottish man. Messages of a desperation and heartfelt plea to an unrequited love. I captured them from the first day I spotted them and now it’s a thing.
I've heard of people using the Imaginary Friends feature on FriendFeed for things other than friends - like RSS readers (…and i still haven't figured out why someone would think FF makes a good RSS reader…) - but i hadn't used the feature at all myself. Until today.
I'm really good at planning out things i Need To Do, but not so good at planning out things i Want To Do, Kinda, Someday, Maybe. All those things get jotted down in one of about half a dozen different places and promptly forgotten - so instead of getting done "someday" they get done "never." Today i found myself thinking i really ought to, at the very least, cram everything into one list so when i'm bored i can find these things easier…
"…But i always have a reason for putting things on different lists, and besides, it'll take FOREVER to rearrange everything. What would be REALLY awesome would be some sort of service which compiled everything for me, kind of like FriendFeed, but for my to-do list… oh. Duh."
So far i've got:
- My starred items in Google Reader
- My del.icio.us bookmarks (which are almost all things i want to do or read or re-read)
- An RSS feed from my RememberTheMilk account (into which i will start dumping the things i handwrite in my notebook or on the paper by my desk)
I have actually managed to *forget* what other lists i use (a wonderful testament to just how bloody many there are), but as long as they have an RSS feed (and what doesn't nowadays?) i'll be able to stick them in FriendFeed.

Traditional voting has always been done by having the voter use the pencil that is provided in the private booth to handwrite an X on the provided paper list of candidates, all from behind the curtains of a private and secure public voting booth ?
but,,
They've changed the traditional long-running, human only, pen to paper voting procedure this year into an A.I. touchscreen, finger poking procedure where the voter must now use his finger to touch the computer screen displaying a list of candidates on the PC touchscreen that has been installed in the private voting booth along with a printer ?
Couldn't this touchscreen computer easily be connected to a private network or to the Internet ?
Once you've completed marking your private vote by using your finger to physically touch the pc screen, ( instead of the old way of using a pencil to mark your X on a paper list ), the pc then sends a command to a nearby printer to print an exact paper copy of the PC screen for you. You can then remove the printed paper copy of your recorded touchscreen private vote from the nearby printer, seal it up in the envelope that is provided, and then proceed to walk over to the ballot box and manually insert your private vote into the box ?
And so ? Have we lost the secrecy in our personal voting privacy ?
Because, somehow, I doubt they're doing it this way to save on pencils ?
