My son and I organized 22 of his high school friends to handwrite thank you notes and arrange donations of masks, snacks, and personal hygiene items to nurses in the lung cancer program at Morristown Hospital in New Jersey.

Sniff, sniff, here is the final LOAD for 10/10...I made it through but these last few layouts were not what I originally planned after reading through the prompts/challenges but they are what I was able to get done within the time crunch I have had. So, I'm happy with that even if I'm not 100% thrilled with each page.
This is the Something Wicked quick page by DSS (I'm not exactly sure what that stands for though, sorry.) with a pic of our front door set up for candy distribution and another costume photo of the twins. (Katara of Last Air Bender and Obi Wan Kenobi of Star Wars)
Therefore, I learned (or was reminded) that done is better than perfect and I have tons of layouts with my own handwriting on them because I seem to like to use my own writing instead of computer printing for my journaling. I also like to print out my digital pages and then handwrite my journaling on them before slipping them into their cozy page protectors. LOL!
And, of course, as I've stated before, I was reminded that I write too much. Ha!

i decided to handwrite the diary entry this time, since i feel like Charlie wouldn't use a computer for his diary. :)

We received this today (1-11). OK...follow me here. It is from Greg's half sister's aunt and uncle. And they are lovely people who live in Minnesota. We saw them this past summer in Montana at the 60th Reunion for the First Special Service Force (and it was the last reunion of that group). Anyhow, we had sent them some of the pictures of that event for Christmas in our card. They wrote a two page thank you letter for the gift. And best of all, shared their feelings about Greg's family's relationship to them. (You see it was Greg's mom's first husband and he was killed in WWII, that was Sandy's dad, not Greg's). How nice she took the time to handwrite a lettler and she some wonderful reflections of how families become related. They are such great people, fun, joyful. It was a real treat to get this letter and photograph they shared with us.
