The first annual 4-H Science Day with the Lugnuts was held July 15 at Cooley Law School Stadium (downtown Lansing).

 

Featured activities included the physics behind pitching sliders and curveballs from one of the Lugnuts pitchers, a turfgrass demonstration, a tour of the kitchen to learn about event food safety and preparation and a chance to throw balls in the outfield.
