Seen in Keswick, a plain roadside post had been transformed into a burst of colour and whimsy through yarn bombing. Wrapped in green crochet, it was alive with hand‑stitched creatures — a white sheep, a brown squirrel clutching a pom‑pom, bright ladybirds, mushrooms, butterflies, and tiny birds — each one adding its own charm to the scene. Against the grey of the pavement and the muted tones of the street, it stood out as a little beacon of creativity, turning an ordinary bit of street furniture into a piece of playful public art that made us smile as we passed.
