I actually like the reflection in this shot, and how its caught multiple times.
I think I may have felted the individual strands too much before twisting together. I ended up sewing the twists to exaggerate and hold them.

it's a sickness -- it's such a fantastic driving machine, my little tank! :)
This slender , delicate looking grass grows around the property and looks quite nice but do not try to handle it, it is incredibly sharp edged and will slice through skin like a sword. the edges of the grass blades are lined with minute saw like teeth that not only cut but also make the cut itself sting and hurt for a long time. Lovely to look at not so nice to handle
Four trays all done and lacquered. Three with the handles re-installed.
The handles cleaned up nicely on the wire wheels. A little black gloss spray paint and they were ready to go back on. Of course I used brass screws. I didn't find the style heads I wanted, but these are good enough.
