Painted and done! Sorry, skipped a step or two, but I had a deadline and was in a hurry.

One of Joannes many garage sale hammers - this was missing a metal wedge, and the wooden one was loose. Original finish was foil label on red painted handle as shown. Absolutely o markings!

Removed wedges, cut handle off by about 3/8" new wedges and now SOLID and TIGHT!

Gets put in the hammer drawer for use as needed.

Any idea as to label aand/or name?

The Z-grip Handle is an articulating handgrip with 1/2 inch thread. The thread can be used to attach Zacuto rods and Zamerican arms. It is excellent for use on cameras, when mounted using rods. It can also be used to hold accessories. By loosening the red lever, the handgrip can become fully articulating.

One great accessory for the Z-grip Handle are our new Z-grip gloves. With a non-slip textured FDA Grade High temperature, these silicone ‘gloves’ slide onto our zgrip handle giving additional padding for long shoots.

Handle is now finished. Sanded out to 320 grit, it will get a good waxing on the buffer after assembly.
