I will always call this knob in the Matanuska Valley 'Handle Mountain' because that's what my kids called it when they were little. Others, 'uniformed', call it Lion's Head.

The plant should be handled with gloves. An essential oil or tea derived from the leaves and flowering tops of the plan were used in folk medicine. The oil itself is highly toxic, and is not recommended for internal use
#TBT time again. Today I'm dialing up November of 2006 for this shot of a trio of Santa Fe geeps handling an eastbound intermodal near Oregon, IL. Early morning November sun can certainly be lovely!
I wonder how many times this handle has been touched? If you used it twice a day to open and close the door every day that would add up to 1,460 times a year. Times that by 10 years and it would be 14,600. Let your mind do other calculations, at any rate it is a lot!

For theme handle: Handles of 2 espresso cups. The handles lean till the bottom. This is why I choose to photograph these cups.
