Used to move shipping containers. The points on the boom lock into the the top corners of the containers. This was built to complement set 10219-1 Maersk Train so that the containers can be unloaded from the train to the truck.
This is a heavily modified Kibri Kalmar model kitbashed to look similar to machines that CN used during the 80's and 90's. I still need to touch up the paint on the wheels and weather it before hitting it with the dullcoat.
Dog trainers showed working with dogs
The handler and dog must be able to fully rely on each other. This is hard work. Day after day, dogs have to learn to put their instincts at the service of humans and listen to commands. Tracking down missing people. Personal protection. They detect burglars or attackers.....and make them fall by biting them and guarding them so that they do not leave the place until the dog handler has reached the target person.

Elephant Camp at Mae Wang National Park ~ Chiang Mai
An interesting activity when you are in Mae Wang County is elephant riding. Swaying on an elephant back slowly lumbering through the forests under a mahout's control is a kind of pleasant travelling. This activity is suitable for everybody. Riding on elephant back allows you to get close to nature like trekking but you will not get too tired due to walking.
Anyway, it can't be said that riding on elephant backs is totally comfort. There are times when elephants lumber up or down hills and the passengers on their backs will have to get a good grip on the howdah and balance themselves well in order not to fall off. Also, the passengers have to dodge from branches of trees and plants brushing against their heads. Sometimes, some elephants will walk off the trail to eat some leaves. The mahout will let them do so for a while and then drive them back onto their track.
At some points, the elephants will have to cross streams. The playful ones who love playing in the water will stand for a relatively long time in the streams and use their trunks to spray water to their passengers. So, be prepared to get wet as well. The charm of the forests makes time fly so fast that you will forget that one hour has passed already.

The small and agile Saibashi cargo handling pods were a common sight around the orbital dockyards of nu-Nippon. Their chopstick-like magno-grabs could handle a variety of standard containers. The ships were especially used for loading small shipments of high value goods. In this series of archive photos a Saibahsi is carrying a pallet of xenon gas cylinders.

"Elephant Handler"
One from the Carnival this year and it was a colourful affair, with a light drizzle of rain as always. This man stood out as I walked down the hill he was guiding an elephant (not a real one) through the street. He was so calm amongst the noise of the carnival.

A four-legged, forklift-like mech built with the parts of 44018 Furno Jet Machine, my most recent Hero Factory purchase. Furno Jet Machine has a brilliantly creative build, but it also has the fewest pieces of any of the machines at its price point, so it was a challenge to create an alternate machine that looked "finished". This uses all but four of Furno Jet Machine's pieces (not counting spares).
