As this road along with the intersection of North Tce is always subject to frequent traffic jams, especially during peak hours, this will soon undergo some radical changes.

 

These include:

1. Red bus priority lanes.

2. A separate shared ped/bike path.

3. A guided busway tunnel giving a direct link from here to Grenfell St.

 

Construction should begin in 2017 and will be finished by mid 2019.

The illuminations in this Hackney Street in east London to celebrate the Coronation of George VI in 1937 were provided by the late lamented General Electric Company.

My great grandmother. In spite of the dour expression in this photo, she was said to be a sweet and gentle person who had courageously endured the sometimes harsh conditions of homesteading in early Kansas.

On the banks of the New River and overlooking the West Reservoir, an impressive development that has opened up and improved this previously desolate area that had been full of beer cans, dumped mattresses and panes of glass and remnants of bonfires.
