Hackney Road.
I did a bit of googling and it appears that in 1979 workmen dug up bodies during renovation after the pub had been empty for 25 years. The skeletons had a pair of scissors next to them and were just two feet below the floor. It's also an old pub, built circa 1850. It's a Grade 11 Listed building and looks derelict again.
The Hackney One Carnival was even bigger this year, with 28 carnival groups, spectacular costumes, energetic dance, sound systems and live music from around the world.
