I decided to share this image for the latest #mcromondays challenge called #guiltypleasure !
A guilty pleasure is something, such as an activity or a piece of media, that one enjoys despite understanding that it is not generally held in high regard or is seen as unusual. For example, a person may secretly enjoy a film while acknowledging that is poorly made or generally regarded unfavorably.
The term can also be used to refer to a taste for foods that are considered to be advisable to avoid, especially for health reasons. For example, coffee, alcoholic beverages, smoking and eating a little piece of chocolate after dinner are considered by many to be guilty pleasures.

Guilty Pleasure is the theme for Macro Mondays, but since I feel no guilt when enjoying the pleasure of my nightly martini, I had to scratch out the guilty part.... Whatever other pleasures I may be enjoying, guilty or otherwise, none of them are macroizeable....
I love a good coffee, morning, noon and night. Chocolate is another nibble here and there, but together that is a guilty pleasure!

Guilty Pleasures
Thorntons Coffee Creams, I don't feel too much guilt when I eat these scrumptious chocolates but it's certainly a pleasure, lol.

Some believe in your innocence
Some heard you are caring
Some say you are kind hearted
Some think you are trustworthy
Some see you doing good things
Some feel your mercy
But why is your heart so heavy and full of sins?
sweets and chocolate seem to be hard to resist for me these days.
When I was younger I didnt have a sweet tooth but I definitely do now.
I gave up drinking alcohol a year ago and a further increase in my sweet-toothness seems to be an adverse consequence of that otherwise positive change.
So I have decided that I am going to totally give up sweets and chocolates at new year. I havent got a feel for whether this will be easy or if I will be successful long term. ...Worth a go anyway.
I will still eat cake though.
...Hoping my cake consumption isnt going to rocket as a knock on effect.....
If it does, I suppose I might have to give up cake for the 2026 New Year.
