Start of the Down Town Tour
Because I only had one full day in New York I took back to back Hop On Hop Off Buses. Some of the images are not very good as the bus would go over bumps etc,.I have kept them in as memorises of the day. I only got off the bus once so most of the photos were taken as we were travelling along. Sadly I just didn't have time to have a good walk around.
I woke to a lovely sunny day and not too cold with around 16c. As the day went on it clouded over a bit and cooled down. November 7, 2018 USA.

This is a Guild F-112 12 string, made in 1969. At one time it belonged to the late Sonny Bono. I think it sounds way cool, because of it's well seasoned wood. I can imagine Sonny playing it back then when he was married to Cher, serenading her or maybe writing/recording some songs with it!

R. Catholic Processions. No. 30. Photograph by R&T
Preston Market Place showing the Catholic processions from English Martyrs photographed by R&T (Robinson and Thompson, Artist Photographers, 57 Church Street, Liverpool). The layout of the Market Place in 1882 was quite different to that of today. The series of buildings seen on the right of the image were swept away to be replaced by the Central Post Office (opened in 1903) and the southern extension of Market Street. At the time of the 1882 Guild, the building at the far right was occupied by Abraham Barlow, Hosier & Smallware Dealer. The next building to the left where spectators are seen on the upper terrace was the London Hat Warehouse run by the Smith Brothers who seemed to change locations every six month or so. The building at the extreme left of the photograph was John Hamilton & Sons Drapers. The next building will be familiar to most Prestonians as the oldest surviving shop in Preston. At that time it was jointly occupied by Thomas and Isabella Brooksby, Tailors and Drapers and a Mr. Josiah Green. Although the shop still stands, it has since lost about a third of it's length. Centrally placed is James Yates, Ironmongers trading from a building that would see out its days as Maypole Dairy. The photographer would have taken this image from the upper storey of one of the long terrace of shops that ran along the east end of the Market Place. The Harris Library had yet to be built. The ceremony of laying down the foundation stone of the Harris was one of the events celebrated during the same week this image was captured.

Internal Guild event promo assets from over on the Spiral Knights side of things.
These won't get any real traction or interaction on a LEGO-centric profile, but it seems a shame to let these just fade away in Discord channels.
By far the most popular of the bounties, this one saw mass participation from across the guild, with rookies and veterans alike charging through the Gloaming Wildwoods in hunt of hefty profits - resulting in a resource return nearly nearly quadruple the next highest contender.
Eaurios, pearl of the Ocean
Oceans are dangerous and deep so there aren't many people who are facing them. But if they do, they could reach Eaurios. Suprisingly in the middle of the Ocean east to Mitgardia there is shallow water. When they would succeed to pass the treacherous water and creatures in the shallows they'll find the grand forrests of Eaurios. The giant salt water trees and plants there are magnificant and provide the people everything they need. Like food, wood and even shelter because the trees are hollow. And what the trees can't provide the ocean does!
History
Stories say the citizens from Eaurios came from the oceans further east and that they are descendens of an elvish race. They were seeking treasures but found the forrests instead. They were struck by the beauty of it and decided to stay. Since then Eaurios is a thriving land were people live in harmony with nature. Rarely they visit the coasts of Mitgardia and Nocturnus because what business will they be seeking there when having already found the Pearl of the Ocean.
Guild name: Eaurios
Guild Location: A 10 day swim away from the East coast of Mitgardia
Capital and Ruler: Rifidem ruled by Eshreï Amthibius
Unique characteristics: It is said, the people of Eaurios can swim faster than a man can row. Altough never confirmed because you rarely see one, they do grow up surrounded by water and when travelling they say a day swim instead of a day sailing or walking.

Numerous architectural ruins have been assembled here from historic Toronto landmarks. These ornate columns are from 60 King Street West.

Upcoming Meetings:
Located behind the Mansion House, the Guild Hall was originally built in the 15th century serving as a meeting place for the guilds of York. Guilds mainly controlled the trade within the city overseeing the quality of workmanship. The Guild Hall was damaged during an air raid in World War II and the present building is a rebuilt version of the 15th century building. The stone walls which escaped total destruction form the basis of the current building. It was opened by the Queen in 1960.
The Guild Hall has seen many royal social visits - Richard III was entertained there in 1483 and Prince Albert, the Prince Consort to Queen Victoria was a guest of honour at a Royal banquet. The Guild Hall was the venue for Margaret Clitherow's (1556 – 25 March 1586) trial. She is an English saint and martyr of the Roman Catholic Church. She is sometimes called "the Pearl of York".
It was also where £200,000 was counted before being given to the Scots in payment for their part in helping Oliver Cromwell during the English Civil War. No comment!!!!
