So I finally got to see Les Miserables the other day and I loved it. I agree with most of the reviews and yes it was a bit too long and Russell Crowe wasn't as great at singing as the others but overall I thought it was great. I partly watched it because I really wanted to see it, partly for Helena Bonham Carter and mostly for award season.
This is my favourite time of the year. Watching all the nominated films so I know what is going on with award season (I only have 5 films left to watch!).
Anyway the point is, this photo was inspired by Les Miserables. Or mostly the cinematography. I was originally going to do a cinematic crop but it looked ugly and the square looked much better.
The cinematography in Les Miserable and also The King's Speech were the inspiration for this shot! I just love Tom Hooper's work so much!
Kevin Massey and John Rapson of 'A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder' were in on Nov. 29-30 for a visit to Denver, which will host the Tony Award-winning Best Musical from Feb. 16-28, 2016. While here, Massey sang the National Anthem before the Denver Broncos' victory over the New England Patriots at Mile High Stadium. Photos by John Moore and Kimberly Lenk for the DCPA NewsCenter.

I just figured out a cool little trick. If you tag all your photos with your username, you can use Flickr itself to show you what your most interesting pictures are without having to use Scout or something similar.
To retroactively tag your pictures, go to Organize, Select All, drag all of your pictures to the batch window, add a unique tag (in my case jauderho) and you are done.
Check out the outcome, www.flickr.com/photos/tags/jauderho/interesting/
The other thing I've done is for each of the pictures I will be uploading from now on should reflect the location if available. Flickr does not honor the IPTC Location tag so I have to work around this by syncing across to an IPTC keyword. If I find some time, I may write a script that will be able to retroactively update my earlier pictures.
Now if Flickr could implement something like SmartSets that would automagically be built around tags, that would be sweet.
[UPDATE] I did write a simple VB script for iView that properly syncs Location to Keywords so now Location shows up properly. Send me FlickrMail if you want the simple script.
