We've been purging and re organizing and now and then, I see something I want to photograph before it gets tossed or given away. This was one of those times.

I thought I'd make this into one of my guessing games. Can you tell what it is? :)

Okay, in case you come back to check, here's the answer. Quite a few of you got it right. They are the centres of three-ring binders. My husband pulled about 10 of them apart, and as the silvery centres were sitting in a pile, I had to shoot them. Macro Merriment got it completely right, as he added that there were fairy lights in the background as well.

Here's a guessing game for you :) I'm sure some will guess it right off the bat, but even though I knew where it came from, I had no idea what it was until this morning, when I finally looked it up. For me, it was something new to photograph.

I will tell you that I shot it on shiny wrapping paper with light coming in from a window behind. The size of "the item" is 6cm x 1.4cm or approx. 2.2" x .5".

Any ideas?

The reveal: It's a dart wrench multi - tool.

We have a dart board at home and enjoy playing. When we ordered some new darts, this wrench came along with it. It does have a bottle opener on it as well, so many of you guessed that part correctly. But when I tried using it to open a bottle, it was too small and I couldn't get the bottle open. Smaller bottles?

Finished another bowling ball the other day with my left over flat marbles. This time I tallied the numbers of marbles I glued on.

I think you'll likely solve this one pretty quick. I didn't have much around the house that was interesting enough to shoot that also wasn't completely obvious as to what it really is. Anyways, what do you think this is?

Vielleicht hat jemand eine Idee, was das sein kann ? Die Auflösung folgt am Sonntag.

I had recently prepared this picture for Smile on Saturday, for the theme ‘Guessing game’, but I realised in time that it didn't quite fit the rules of SoS.

Maybe someone has an idea what it could be ? The solution will follow on Sunday.

Thanks for playing. This is an image of dried Writer's Tears (Whiskey) in the bottom of a crystal whiskey glass. The dregs made for an interesting pattern when illuminated from the side.
