For this layout, I started with et designs' scrumptious new Christmas Sparkle Bundle and the grumpy cat photo. It's a new release that's on sale for a limited time at www.oscraps.com/shop/Christmas-Sparkle-Bundle-by-et-desig....
I put the photo in an ornate frame and gave the frame a drop shadow. I decided I liked the photo better on the left side of the layout, so the cat would be looking at the viewer more. So I put in on the left side and tried different artsy papers until I found one that I liked, with room for my journaling.
Next, I added the journaling. Then I created a cluster for the lower right corner of the frame using poinsettias, leaves, branches, and twigs, berries, ribbon, and a snowflake from et designs' bundle. I tucked a circle of golden beads behind the frame and added an ornate snowflake to the upper left corner for balance. Finally, I added the "Christmas" plate in the lower right corner.
