Qara is a Pallas's cat at Big Cat Sanctuary. Sometimes called the 'Flat headed cat,' they are solitary, wary and usually have a look of disdain on their faces when you do see them, which has earned them the name 'the original grumpy cat!'
One more fact for you! Their eyes are the only eyes that shrink their pupils into small circles as humans do. Their pupils do not widen into vertical slits as other small cats do.
But all I get is bitter and a nasty little rash
And by the time I'm sober
I've forgotten what I've had

With this constant hot weather, Ray spends most of his time down the end of the garden in the shady area in his new 'house' and is totally comatose when he is sleeping. This is what he looked like when I went to wake him up for his dinner.

Cleo met Grumpy Cat today ! It was a peaceful encounter, Grumpy was treated nicer than the teddy bear a week ago, and they look as lovely together as I expected. :) Thanks for the inspiration, Pete ! I think Grumpy will return occasionally.
I was abscent from Flickr over the weekend as I had a "kitchen accident" on Saturday morning, rammed a knife into my hand. It was quite a mess but the wound is healing nicely now, typing is still a problem though, as well as taking photos. I have always known that the kitchen is a dangerous place which I should avoid whenever possible !
Winter is a terribly boring season for Sethi who generally loves the big outdoors and chases everything that's smaller than himself. He hates cold weather and rarely sets a paw outside these days although you can tell that sleeping all day isn't what he really wants. Sometimes a buddy would be nice but I'm not sure if Grumpy Cat is the perfect choice for this job ....

Taken at the fish pond at the park, which you can see in my Photostream 3 pics back. Did multiple effects in Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz. I kept going and going. As soon as I thought I was done, I tried something else and liked it. lol.. I did not alter his mouth. Luckily this is for Slider Sunday where overprocessing is expected. HSS! :-)
This is our cat Muffin. She got her name because whenever my partner would complain about something when we were first dating I would reply... "Awwwwwwwww Muffin". He thought if I named the cat Muffin I would stop saying it to him..... Can you guess how well that worked out for him?
Grumpy Cat found a skull while walking through the pumpkin patch and pondered whether or not it would make a good cat toy.
Playing in my light box, I am in desperate need of better lights.. but Tried out my Ring Light tonight :D
I am so just Smitten with her, I don't want to put her down :D

Kaiser was lying on top of me in bed and I needed to get up. These days, he hates having his photo taken so I started taking pictures of him with my phone and as you can see by his face he did not enjoy that one bit and so moved. Mission accomplished - lol.
I realize over time I have gotten quite a little Grumpy Cat Collection... First I got the tiny Needle Felted girl to ease my pain when I missed out on Miss Ixnay...Then Came the art from my lovely friend Punky Blythster and I found a couple of mugs last weekend :D
And Of course Ixnay Finally joined the Lawdeda Clan <3 So happy!

Looks like someone spilled white paint on a street, then later someone drew an image of "Grumpy Cat" on top of it. Temescal district of Oakland.
Whilst watching the tiger cubs basking in the sun and playing around they eventually started to slow and decided for a lay down. Not before this little one gave me a very grumpy cat stare down :)

Dieses hier zeigt, dass die GrumpyCat doch noch lebt.. diese Wildkatze hier hat richtig grimmig geschaut und war nicht so begeistert. Vielleicht gab es an dem Tag keine Maus?

This one here show that Grumpycat is still alive.. This wildcat here looked very grumpy and was not that amused.. maybe there were no mice that day?
