2回目となる”蚕室帯留展”は、四季や時間帯によって刻々と変化する「ソラモヨウ/空模様」をテーマに開催いたします。
画家中村眞弥子による絵画を元にした半幅帯に、多彩な素材・表現の8名の作家の帯留めが揃います！
今回も着物ディスプレイ・コーディネートなど八王子市の坂本呉服店さんにご参加いただいております。

I'm in a group show at Wall Space Gallery Seattle.
I'll be in a group show next month at SAM Gallery in Downtown Seattle. Not only am I fortunate enough to have been added to the roster at the last minute by the director, she also decided to use one of my pieces for the card!
In this exhibit, SAM Gallery features a group of artists who explore their own identity, heritage, and/or artistic history in their artwork. Featured artists include Willie J. Bonner, Diem Chau, Pamm O. Hanson, Lezlie Jane, Shaun Kardinal, Judith Kindler, Layne Kleinart, Hugo Ludea, Allan Packer and Amy Sollins.

I'll be showing work from my series "Look at Me," wherein I photograph myself in my bathroom performing mundane daily rituals. You can view more of that work here.

Groupshow during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival @ The Jazz House. This project from ~Scape artists Jan Jelinek, Andrew Pekler & Hanno Leichtmann is all about improvisation. They played for more than two hours. The focus faded sometimes, but they had some serious grooves going on now and then.
