Yossi Govrin. Please join in the celebration of the 11th Anniversary Open Studios in Santa Monica at the historic airport hanger on Saturday, October 17th, 6-9 pm and Sunday, October 18, 1-5 pm.

"Thirty eight painters, printmakers, photographers, sculptors and mixed media artists will open their studios for the event. Each artist will have a piece in a silent auction both on Saturday and Sunday."
In conjunction with the Open Studios, Arena 1 will open “The Cuban Show ""
Exhibits will run from October 17, 2015 - November 14, 2015.

Une vieille femme, vétéran de la guerre, arbore le portraitd'un frêre ou d'un fiancé tombé au combat, elle sanglotte au bord du trottoir. A la dérobée, je la prends en photo. Quelques jours plus tard, en regardant sur internet un documentaire sur la Russie qui est passé un peu plus tôt sur une chaîne française, j'apprends que François Hollande a refusé de se rendre en Russie pour les commémorations des 70 ans du 9 mai, et que Vladimir Poutine n'a été invité ni aux commémorations du 6 juin, ni à celles de la libération du camp d'Auschwitz (pourtant libéré par les troupes Russes).

Sadly my father has Alzheimer's so I'm treasuring every moment where there's a sparkle of Dad as he's disappearing on us fast.
I've told him many times what a wonderful Dad he has been and that I love him dearly. And he tells me he loves me too.
