Impromptu portrait of two fabulous street performers on Buchanan Street in Glasgow, Scotland. She may be tiny but her voice is enormous! A great guitar and vocal talent duo that bring cheers, smiles and applause to the street of the city. I really should have found out their names by now as I have heard, and enjoyed, them many times. The most fun of all is when the girls throw one of their After the After Party Parties. You might have guessed that this is one of the girls who has a standing invitation. "You can always come," I think I said to her. Was it this girl, or another who just looked at me and smiled when I said that.
Her name is Mareeka, in case you were wondering. Sort of like paprika. "You can put me in a stew," she said one time. I don't always know what she means when she says stuff like that, but she always makes me laugh.
