Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.

On July 29, 2011, Cassini captured five of Saturn's moons in a single frame with its narrow-angle camera. This is a full-color look at a view that was originally published in September 2011 (see PIA14573).

Moons visible in this view: Janus (111 miles, or 179 kilometers across) is on the far left; Pandora (50 miles, or 81 kilometers across) orbits just beyond the thin F ring near the center of the image; brightly reflective Enceladus (313 miles, or 504 kilometers across) appears above center; Saturn's second largest moon, Rhea (949 miles, or 1,528 kilometers across), is bisected by the right edge of the image; and the smaller moon Mimas (246 miles, or 396 kilometers across) is seen just to the left of Rhea.

This view looks toward the northern, sunlit side of the rings from just above the ringplane. Rhea is closest to Cassini here. The rings are beyond Rhea and Mimas. Enceladus is beyond the rings. The view was acquired at a distance of approximately 684,000 miles (1.1 million kilometers) from Rhea and 1.1 million miles (1.8 million kilometers) from Enceladus.

The Cassini spacecraft ended its mission on Sept. 15, 2017.

Cladonia bellidiflora - this is a little group I photographed a couple of weeks ago, revisited to see what change- if any - was evident. This group seems to be thriving, spreading along a fallen tree and present in little clusters, this being the largest of them. Robbers Den, Ardrishaig (Argyll), November, Temperate Rainforest.

thank you Anu for the honor of group cover :)

I'm planning on creating a task force for future Mocs and this is my current lineup. I still haven't decided whether or not I should have more of a division-esque group with civilian clothes and some military gear or if I should create a set uniform for them. Leave a comment if you have any suggestions

In my last two dives in the Marine Reserve of Tabarca Island (Alicante), (Bajo de la Llosa and Bajo la Nao), I was able to observe two different specimens of Grouper (Epinephelus marginatus) infected with Nodavirus, the veil in the eyes and their erratic movements are identifying signs of the disease.

In 2017 specimens with this disease were observed and documented in the #reservamarinaislashormigas Marine Reserve of Cabo de Palos-Islas Hormigas, and a scientific article was published in 2020 by Dr. José Peñalver García (Veterinarian of the Regional Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Region of Murcia) in the journal of the University of Murcia revistas.um.es/analesbio/article/view/423951.

I have made this known by attaching the photos to those responsible for the Tabarca Marine Reserve, if you see specimens with the same signs, please let them know.

Taking a group photo that looks relatively unposed is not easy when people are the subjects. Flowers tend to have more grace and less vanity.

In hues of grace, a portrait unfolds,

A tapestry of tales, a story to be told.

Ladies gathered, like flowers in bloom,

A kaleidoscope of beauty in the room.

Each face a chapter, a journey worn,

In the tapestry of time, their stories adorned.

Wisdom etched in every line,

A testament to strength, like aged wine.

Eyes that sparkle with dreams untold,

In laughter and secrets, bonds unfold.

Graceful gestures, hands intertwined,

A sisterhood of souls, forever bind.

Diverse as the seasons, yet united they stand,

In this canvas of life, painted by skilled hand.

Empowered hearts, resilience their song,

A harmonious melody, together strong.

From a group of photos I purchased a while back - no names or dates - I just like the contrast from each person to the next.
