Frost's bolete is a widely distributed mushroom in the eastern and southwestern US. Boletes are classified as a groupd of mushrooms that produce their spores in tubular structures under the cap, rather than gills. Found growing in association with hardwood trees, especially oak. The network pattern of the stipe (the stalk) and the amber droplets produced along the cap in young fruiting bodies.

Shot with single off-camera strobe (Leica SF60/Leica SF C1 trigger) positioned camera right at approximately 20 degrees, slightly above subject, modified with MagMod MagSphere diffuser.

Crewed by two pilots, two gunners, and is equipped with troop accommodations for eight, which can be removed to accommodate four full-sized medical litters

Confession time... if you've been keeping up with my helicopter phase... this Black Hawk was actually the first chopper I built - and while watching Blackhawk Down, I decided I needed little birds to go with it... and well... at that point I might as well build an Apache (my other favorite helicopter as kid)...
Though I saved this one for last as it was part of the scene I had envisioned for @worldinDarkness group.

Auckland, New Zealand
There are three pairs of Magpies in the lower part of Waikumete Cemetery, plus one solo female. This bird appears to be courting the solo female, Maggie. It already trusts Annette so was probably one of the chicks from a previous season, possibly Junior, which knew Annette well.

Lucky enough we have Spain and Sweden playing here in Innsbruck at the EURO 2008 and I honestly have to say that together with the Dutch they are the best fans ever.
Molly kept to herself most of the time. When a groupd of dogs would head to the back of the yard she would hang out with them, but she rarely came up to where we were all sitting. I know the first year we were there she never came out of the house and last year she stayed beside the house, so each year Molly is making it farther.
I went to see the group Heart at the PNE last night with my best friend.
It was a rocking show.
I didn't want to bore you with a bunch of pjotos of the show. Unless enough people ask to see more, then I might do it another day this week.

A single tulip that fell from a bunch, but my mother-in-law couldn't bring herself to throw away just yet. I know I am a bokehwhore (theres a groupd for that, it turns out) so i am trying to get some good photos thatdont have such bokeh but in the meantime, I liked this one.

Four Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins allow me to watch them feed. Feeling their buzzing hit me as they went past, while trying to identify me was so incredible.
