Jewell made the announcement at an event at Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge outside Denver, Colorado, where she was joined by U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Deputy Under Secretary for Natural Resources and the Environment Arthur “Butch” Blazer; Greg Knadle, Vice President for Government Relations of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF); Refuge Manager David Lucas and youth corps members of Groundwork Denver.

Although it's less than 100 pages, the book is quite comprehensive. i think i have a better understanding why as a whole people haven't been so moved by the issue of global warming - - it's just too darn complex and complicated!
and yes, one of my objectives this summer is to design a curriculum for a semester long high school social studies class that's called, "Global Cliamte and Impacted Countries". Reading this book though made me wish I could be co-teaching the class with a earth science teacher.
