Inside the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel, construction workers place tactile surface at the Pioneer Square Station. The tunnel will reopen for bus service next year, and will also serve Link light rail trains running from Westlake Center to Sea-Tac Airport when service begins in 2009.

Although it's less than 100 pages, the book is quite comprehensive. i think i have a better understanding why as a whole people haven't been so moved by the issue of global warming - - it's just too darn complex and complicated!
and yes, one of my objectives this summer is to design a curriculum for a semester long high school social studies class that's called, "Global Cliamte and Impacted Countries". Reading this book though made me wish I could be co-teaching the class with a earth science teacher.
