The thing on my head if u do not know is called "Apotowia" in english called Earth Grinding Bowl, it is the Ghanaian utensil for grinding vegetables and other spices. The tool in my right hand is called "Tapoli" can't think of the right English word for it but it is what is used to grind in the earth grinder. best word would be a Wooden Crusher.

Hot on the trail of the elusive Gut Grinder, our heroes close the chapter of their first set of adventures, marking what would be a long and lasting series of heroics.
Thank you for watching the series and me bring these characters into LEGO life form. It was in immense effort to conceptualize the different moments as there’s so much the first seasons has that could be shown. Encourage all of you if you haven’t to watch the series and see the moments for yourself.
The Gut Grinder may need an additional appearance in the future in brick built form, but for this one he was just too large to build and I wanted some level of mystery elevated in this last one. Plus, my parts collection is fairly depleted after all these creations. That being said, yes, it’s on my radar to build in the future.
Out of all of them I’ve made, which is your favorite?
Let me down below. In the mean time, prepare for some more creative stuff and adventures in other realms that are soon to come…

I was out and about today. There's a rail grinder tied up down at the bottom of the hill from our house.

The patina on this 1958 sign is incredible. When it catches the sun, the surface reflects in the most unusual opalescent rainbows. Stunning.
I took this at the end of the day after shooting waterfalls with Mark Van Dyke. Great guy who knows the upstate very well (and is a whole lot fitter than I).
It was really cold and the wind was brutal. Thought this gave a warm feel but it was still freezing, don't let this fool you :-)
Had a great day all in all, was happy with some shots but caught a cold (probably from my wife who stayed home sick).
If you have not seen Mark's work, go take a peek, he has some great stuff.
this pictures was taken at the shrine of Baba Bullay Shah, this is traditional wooden grinder, in which people use to grind spices in the village and still it is in use.
The Loram Rail Grinder grinds its way west to toward the windy city on CSX's Garrett Sub near the ghost town and interlocking known as Ripley.
Every once in a while I disassemble and clean the coffee grinder.

We visited Grouse Mountain today and had an amazing experience. We saw the two grizzlies, Grinder and Coola, and took in the Birds in Motion show, where we saw a great horned owl (who flew so close to us that he nearly brushed our heads with his wings), a hawk, a turkey vulture, and a gyrfalcon -- all up close and personal with a very well informed handler to explain the creatures to us.
Here's more on the bears:
Leading the way in education and wildlife conservation initiatives, the Grouse Mountain Refuge for Endangered Wildlife, in North Vancouver, Canada, acts as a wilderness sanctuary for animals, while offering leading-edge interpretive programs for thousands of guests each year.
Grinder and Coola are the resident grizzly bears at the refuge. Grinder was found in 2001 in Invermere, BC, wandering alone on a logging road. He was dehydrated, weak and significantly underweight. Coola was also found in 2001, near Bella Coola, BC. His mother had been killed by a truck and, of the three cubs she left behind, Coola was the only one to survive.
Grouse Mountain’s large alpine refuge allows these bears to behave much like they would in the wild, and this gives researchers at the refuge a chance to observe and document their behaviour and development. This research goes a long way to contribute to the development of viable, sanctioned rehabilitation protocols for orphaned grizzlies, now and in the future.
