So sad but if you had a great deal of money it could make a stunning town house or apartments (flats to us old people). It’s in the centre of Biggleswade which is very close to the A1M to London or Northern England.

The forecast for day 2 was pretty grim with expected rain and heavy overcast skies all day. Undeterred, we were up at 0515 to take a chance on Gary Beach. From pre-trip research we knew we would be arriving before the optimum tide height but pressed on anyway, despite the driving rain. Although the rain had eased a little on arrival, the lack of water around the beach stacks meant we weren't too pleased with the early efforts so headed back to the accommodation for breakfast, to dry out the soaked kit and to formulate a plan. That plan turned out to be a return visit to Gary just an hour or two later to coincide with the tide meeting the rocks, though the rain was even heavier now. For this image I picked out a lone stack just as the sea washed around it. I liked the contrast of the cool blue of the water and wamer beach tones and chose a higher viewpoint to isolate the scene from the horizon.
