The South Gare near Redcar. An industrial landscape with the old blast furness in the background, the huts traditionally belonged to the fisherman are all the same shade of green, protected now after the local council I think wanted to bulldoze them all a few years ago. Scarred by industry over the years has left this area a very rich spot for a that way inclined photographer.

En-route from Castlerigg Stone Circle to Derwnt Water, looking towards Thirlmere. I think there's a chance of rain.
I imagine there's nothing like a cemetery in your backyard to encourage you to live every day to its fullest :) seen on Alberta Street in Sapperton B.C.
The Grimming is a spectacular mountain in the valley of River Enns. in Styria (AT). At the right side of the mountain you will find Trautenfels Castle and even further to the right, just below the clouds, Chapel of St. John in Pürgg.

Following the directions provided by the Angel, the next day the girl perched herself on 'Grim's highway', as the Angel referred to the web of cables and poles and balconies that formed Grim's domain above the streets. She had become aware she was being observed, with the occasional glint of reflected light attracting her eye.
After a while, as her vision adjusted, she discerned the shape of Grim slowly approaching along the cables; noting how her toes and fingers were always connecting to at least two of the cables.
'Hello, you must be Grim' she said, quietly since she was a little intimidated by the beak. 'I must be, I suppose, so you must be 'the girl' then.' said the Grim in a soft, feminine voice, although a little muffled from within the beak. 'Were you waiting for me? Do you need some light?' Grim said.
'I might, actually - the Angel thinks I should dance, would you be able to help me with some light?'. She rushed on with her real question though...'Why do you make all the lights? It is very pretty, but I was wondering what purpose they have.'
She watched with a little trepidation as Grim maneuvered through cables, approaching more closely until she could see long lashes flutter as the Grim blinked at her through the thick glass set into her goggles.
'I missed the light', she said in a quiet voice. 'It was so sudden and so complete, we lost the Moon, the stars and then the cities failed one by one, their lights dimmed and then blinked out. When I arrived here, I decided to bring some light back,' she shrugged, causing her steel wings to shiver and swish as the metallic feathers slid against each other like the sharpening of knives. She hovered, knees gently bending, balancing on the thick cables to which she clung with toes and fingers.
Then silently, she was gone, the cables barely swaying, as if she'd not been present at all. Only her voice floated faintly back on the air 'I will give you light'.
