Another take from the fascinating Grey Wethers double stone circle. A few standing stones of the first circle are in the foreground, the second stone circle in the background.

This was the last photo I took here before we continued our walk back into the forest. Ironically, after about 3 min walk small gaps in the clouds opened up and for a brief moment the stone circles were illuminated against a dark grey background - would have been epic lighting for this location! At least I could feast my eyes on it but we were too far away for me to take any good photo at that point.

To quote Arnie: I'll be back!

There is only one place in Victoria that I know of where you where can walk right into the canola fields and immerse yourself in the glorious and bright golden yellow flowers, and that is at the 'Cornella Canola Walk'. In conjunction with the Shiraz Republic Winery and Cornella Brewery just outside of Heathcote in country Victoria, a canola walk has established complete with a viewing platform and walking track through the flowering yellow crop. And this is where I went on the last day of winter.

Now in its third year, the 'Cornella Canola Walk' is a wonderfully immersive experience that is full of colour! It was a wonderful way to spend the last day of winter this year, surrounded by a seemingly endless sea of golden yellow flowers beneath the blue sky!

When it's cold and gray, push the clouds away, paint a rainbow in your heart. ♥

I captured this amazing scenery shot as we were going along Jenolan caves Rd, between Hartley and Hampton NSW Australia we were heading home.

Some lovely sunbeams coming through the cloud cover over the bay of Naples on this winter's morning.

If memory serves, the boats are moored at Marina Moro Luise.

I took the dogs out to have them exercise and fetch the ball as they had been inside for many days while the temperatures were in the mid thirties "C" in the daytime and not that much lower during the night. The sky suddenly went from cloudy to ugly and we were showered with torrential rain and much lower temperatures than in the days before. This photo is one of a series that I quickly shot before my weather resistant camera and lens became weather damaged camera and lens.

12 days after my earlier post of 29.4.2021, sees the sun setting one half hour later at 21.00pm.

Took this shot of last night's 'Vibrant Sky' at 21.15pm, just after the sun had dipped below the horizon, from the front of my home in the village of Betws yn Rhos, Conwy, North Wales looking West towards the hamlet of Cefin Isaf.

I used a Canon EOS 1200D camera with a Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens set at 16mm, F5.6, ISO 100 and 1/40second exposure.

Now, we're in a warmer South Westerly Airflow - with blustery winds and intermittent squally rain - but still resulting in such colourful sunsets.

Compositionally, luckily I was able to use the rapidly moving Cumulus Clouds(to the left and bottom) contrasting with the Alto Cumulus Clouds (above and to the right) to good effect not only as an encircling frame but also to further diffuse the sun's brightness.

Another shot I captured, as we were driving home from Bathurst.

A boat floats in the calm waters of the Fruid Reservoir in the Scottish Borders. This water forms part of Edinburgh's drinking supply.

The tide was out. A perfect time to walk along the beach from Cromer to Overstrand.

While walking across the Millennium Bridge in London i managed to capture these dramatic cloud formations and a river boat slowly cruising down the thames too

What an awesome summertime stormy sky with curious clouds ; perhaps mammatus clouds or the beginnings thereof.

Hail and heavy rain began to fall soon after I took this shot.

......It’s said that at the end of the rainbow, a leprechaun mines his gold from veins that pulse with a light no sun ever made. The treasure he extracts lies scattered carelessly across the blasted terrain—twisted stacks, half-melted coins, and small hills of raw gold pushed toward his ruined castle like offerings. The rutted, hidden track that leads to his crumbling keep winds through these mounds, half-swallowed by the shifting earth. He lives alone in the shadows, guarding his hoard with traps, whispers, and old, crawling curses. They say those who reach the rainbow’s end never leave whole—if they leave at all.

Here is a beautiful Sulphur-crested-cockatoo flying over head.

Westminster Bridge, London

....a huge flock of noisy Corellas went by on their way to perches on riverbank trees, but I was able to get only the last of what was a glorious sunset through a tiny gap between the trees....sadly the birds aren't sharp but I liked this much anyway. This is Brisbane, the sub-tropics, lots of palms, Umbrella Trees, Poincianna trees, and many other species.

The railway runs right along the sea wall. In very stormy weather, especially if it coincides with high tide, the railway has delays...and it's not unknown for the railway to get heavily damage, or even washed away! The waves in the shot here fairly standard at high tide...not even from a storm!
